Publisher's summary

The Spook, Tom and Alice travel to Ireland, fleeing from the war in the County. The only thing protecting Tom and Alice is the fragile and precious bloodjar. They must remain together and the jar intact - otherwise they are both at the mercy of the Fiend himself.

Meanwhile Tom is recruited to tackle the evil mage alliance, on a mission which ultimately leads him to the possession of the Spook's Blade. A sword with a dark side and a thirst of its own for blood... It's the only weapon that has a fighting chance against the Fiend in combat. But first Tom needs training, and the only person who can help him is Grimalkin, the witch assassin. Will she come? And if she does, whose side will this creature of the dark be on?

Same book as Previous and with different narrator

Same book as Previous and with different narrator ... why sell this volume? Waste of money / credits.

tricked

What disappointed you about The Spook's Destiny?

already listened to the book under another name. I read the caption and mistook it for a new book in the series.... oh well. I really can't rate the performance of the narrator since i didn't listen.

Any additional comments?

Christopher Welch is spot on for the job. Hopefully any NEW books will be narrated by him.

The narrator is bad

I have enjoyed the series till now. A new narrator was used and I can't stand him. All of the characters sound the same and his delivery is no better. I stopped listening after only one chapter.

Really bad narrator

What would have made The Spook's Destiny better?

They really need to go back to the original reader. Not only was this one aweful, but switching in mid series is jarring.
Christopher Even Welch
