Publisher's summary

Three sexy rock stars. Three headstrong heroines. A sizzling romance series that hits you with all the happily-ever-after feels.

Boxed set: 766 award-winning pages of sexy and swoon-worthy heroes, strong female leads, witty banter, practical jokes and combustible chemistry.

Bright and ambitious Marin Collins needs to stick to her “no workplace romance” policy and resist the sexy and nerdy rock star who is her new client. Brad Osterhauser, the reluctant guitarist who would rather be coding computer games than penning Grammy-nominated songs, finds his outlook on band life improve immensely when he’s smitten by the smart and stunning PR executive who joins the tour. Traveling by bus, city to city with a group of practical joking bandmates and a greedy manager, will music save or sink their forbidden romance?

Lead singer Jase, burned-out from the pressures of life on the road, is called to his small hometown for a funeral. Sparks fly when he’s reunited with the childhood best friend he left behind. These friends-to-enemies soon become lovers. But with someone trying to tear them apart, can their new love survive? Meanwhile, practical joking keyboardist Oliver hooks up with a cash-strapped jewelry designer seeking distraction from workplace harassment. Can the prankster prove himself serious enough to turn a one-night stand into lasting love?

The Starfish Series Box Set includes three stand-alone romances filled with small-town and big-city settings, new loves and second chances, forced proximity and chance encounters.

If you love sexy rock stars, smart and sassy female leads, sizzling chemistry, witty banter, and happily-ever-afters, Lisa Becker’s Starfish rock star box set is for you. Scroll up now to buy now.

Three couples for the price of one.

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible purchase and KU borrow with whispersync. Each book is dual POV. Complete trilogy boxset. 'Starfish' is narrated by Sebastian York and Erin Mallon. 'Dear Future Self' is narrated by Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro. 'Joke's On You' is narrated by Stella Hunter and Connor Crais. Listed as 13 hours 36 minutes, I listened at conversational speed 1.50 for 9 hours 23 minutes (the last 4 minutes are a teaser of 'The Subway Girl'). All of the narrators read well. Trigger warnings: manager/friend betrayal and sexual harassment.

Book 1: Brad and Marin. Brad's 13 year old brother started a garage band when Brad was 9, he had Brad play the guitar, and many years later they're a very popular band. Brad is a multiple instrument prodigy who dreams of launching his own computer game. Marin (24) is fresh out of grad school with a master's in communications interning for her dream company but instead of getting assigned to the tech firm she wanted she is assigned as a rock band's intern. Brad and Marin find their HEA but it comes at the cost of Marin's job and Brad's band.

Book 2: Jason and Camille. They were best friends growing up but when Jason decided to change his life and pursue his dreams Camille was suddenly and without reason dropped from Jason's life. Years later Jason is a solo artist living his dream and Camille is still in the same small town they grew up in, teaching high school music, and living in her parents' home (sadly both of her parents have passed away). Jason and Camille are forced to work together when their favorite teacher passes away and leaves them in charge of his last wishes. They find their HEA after Jason realizes Brad was right about his manager.

Book: 3 Oliver and Rowan. Oliver is a child piano prodigy who joined his friend's garage band as a teenager then when the band broke up joined a new band as their keyboardist. Rowan is a jewelry designer working as a photographer and editor for a magazine until she can afford to start her own jewelry company. On a random night out with friends Oliver and Rowan meet and quickly fall into bed together. Rowan sneaks away the next morning while Oliver is showering, leaving him with a short goodbye note. Oliver quickly finds out her details from his friend but has to wait until he's finished with his tour before he can pursue Rowan. Luckily things work out and while they're not married or engaged in the end they are living together and happy. JP

Book One ☆☆☆☆☆

Book one was great ☆☆☆☆☆; books 2 & 3 were written well, but the narration was subpar.

Fabulous box set!

I tried this new to me author because I can’t resist a boxed set for one credit and boy am I glad I did! This is one full length novel and two novellas all following the members of one band. If you love a rockstar romance then you are in luck because you get three for the price of one. Slow-burn, insta-love and somewhere in the middle are the way to describe the speed of these stories that are sure to satisfy everyone when it comes to the kind of love you like to read about. There’s no cheating, very low angst, sweet to steamy romance, all which makes for just a great easy listen that will make you want your own rockstar to sweep you off you feet. The narrators are all first-class and amazing and really take these books to another level where you just can’t stop listening till you have finished the whole thing in one sitting. Totally worth the credit and now I’m going to see what else this author has done.

The Starfish Series

My first time reading/🎧 to this author and it was a good experience! I loved all the narrators they were all terrific, exactly what I expected…Three rom coms with HEA’s for the price of one! The only thing I wish it had more smexy times it needed. Is it worth the credit? YES, if you’re okay with cutesy love stories and not too spicy.

I really enjoyed this series. Nice story lines, not drawn out but enough detail to build characters. I definitely recommend.

Incredible rockstar romance series

Starfish ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
I’ve got two words for you. ONE. BED. That’s the review and all you really need to know.
JK. Starfish is literally everything i look for in a romcom. A forced proximity, workplace/rockstar romance set on tour with a rock band. I absolutely loved this couple and their chemistry was soooo good! Brad was just as sweet and patient as could be and his love for Marin made me swoon. My fellow Coffee Girl fans need to get their hands on this one!!!

Dear Future Self ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A quick novella focusing on Jason, lead singer and playboy rockstar. As he returns to his small hometown, he falls for his former childhood friend, music teacher, Cami. I liked seeing Jason rediscover his softer side. Becker packed a surprising amount of steam and depth into this quick read!!

Jokes on You ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have to say, this was the best romcom novella I have ever read!! I mean it. The whole time I was listening I just wanted time to slow down. I adored Oliver and Rowan, their steamy connection, and the incredible side characters. All I wanted from this book was MORE. (Definitely a TW of workplace sexual harassment.)

The StarFish Series!

The Starfish Rockstar Series Boxset includes:

Starfish # 1 which is Brad (guitarist) and Marin (intern) love story. This one is cute and likeable characters, however Brad did piss me off at one point. Lol. Marin was a fun character. Their romance was fun, entertaining and sensual. Witty banter between the characters. Good ending.

Narrated by Sebastian York and Erin Mallon; these two brought the characters and their story to reality.

Dear Future Shelf (Starfish # 1.5) is a novella about a second chance romance with a rock star. I absolutely loved this rekindled friendship and and new-found love for one another. Characters are compelling and a joy to listen to their love story.

Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro were fantastic with the characters emotions and brough the story to realty.

On You (Starfish #2) is my favorite in the series. This romantic comedy novella was absolutely funny and romantic. Opulence of sensual banter and laugh out loud moments. Character's are a blast the storyline is weaved with passionate moments. So hot too! Loved the ending.

Narrators Connor Crais and Stella Hunter were fantastic and my favorite.

Im happy the author chose different narrators for each book. Great boxset.
