love John Lee's narrations!! Wish he narrorated the rest of Terry Brooks books!! The Shannara chronicles are one of my favorite book series! I've downloaded every book!!

This is an awesome ending to an amazing story that I can't recommend enough. It takes a little while to make it through all 4 books but the payoff is worth it.

characters never caught a break. constant negative impact. good ultimately prevails but at great cost

good vs evil

The only issue I had with this book was it seemed as if 90 percent of the story was the characters taking turns being captured and rescued.
Overall the book had a great story line. But, like I said there was to much capture and rescue attemps.

Elf Queen was my favorite as she showed strength but the book failed at giving her a happier ending then it could have

What does John Lee bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

As all good narration, he gives depth and understanding to the charterers

Lot of filler in the series that was plain boring in the description of scenery and the series could have been much more enjoyable without it and easily combined into three books
