Another great audiobook about the Evers family and their adventures. Each one of these I listen to makes me want to get deeper and deeper into the family history and makes me want more and more. Really well written and perfectly narrated. I can't wait to listen to part 4!

This is the third book in The Evers Series, a fantasy clean series. The characters are well developed, and interesting. The story continues where the second book left off. The storyline is original, clean, and entertaining. There is a lot going on in this installment. Great narration from Valerie Rose Lohman. Looking forward to listening to The World Jumper, the next book in the series. #StoryOrigin

Yeah this is the first one to end on a cliffhanger, but although it leaves you wondering and wanting more it's not the jarring, enraging type of cliffhanger at least to me. I appreciate an author that knows how to make sure you want more but without being predictable and/ or overusing the same tactics to make you keep reading. It's a sign of talent and intelligence which the MCs don't always display themselves... I have lots of questions and hope the final book has the answers I need 😂.

Time Walking, World Travel, and Romance Amid A Very Affluent Lifestyle Bk3

Parents: PG-PG13 this is acceptable for middle school and up

Violence: none
Sexual content: PG13 - kissing, some raging hormones, but it stays clean, background LGBT relationships

Lola is back from summer school and adjusting to the changes, the biggest is her new older half brother - which means she may not have to be the custodian after all. I will admit that their lavish lifestyle has gotten a bit irritating and too convenient, and I'm struggling to stay connected to the characters. There continues to be mostly superficial conflict until in the last 1/3 of this book where it picks up and does get quite a bit more interesting. I'm looking forward to the next book when she goes back to the academy (a bit reminiscent of Hogwarts but has it’s own flair) for the school year and to see where the new plot line goes. These do need to be read in order and while they don't have a huge cliff hanger, each book has a definite pull to read the next one.

The narrator fit the main character well and did a good job with the differentiations. I did prefer listening at 1.25x speed.

FANTASTIC RECOMMENDED FANTASY CLEAN SERIES.
After reading/listening to book 1 "the Ancestors Key' and book 2 "The Academy", I was keen to continue the series as I am finding them all to be consistently well written and narrated. They are all exciting with Lola making new friends, socialising and even having a boyfriend?, or two, it is confusing being a teenager after all!
Magically Lola is learning new cool things and finding out so much more about time travelling and the dangers involved.
I am very impressed and recommend both these well written and well narrated books to young adults.

This series is a wonderful series, and this book was great. Loved learning more indepthly about Lola and her time jumping/walking skills. The author has created such an amazing original story (at least I believe so) that I haven't ever seen before. It is enjoyable and easy to listen to and enjoy. The flow of it is easy to follow and understand and root your favorite character on. The characters are well written and well defined. The storyline has ups, downs, drama, humor, and all the in between. The characters are lovable and want you to keep reading their story. The Aunt in the story is kookie and so funny and lovable you can't help but want to read more about her and root for her. The world building is exceptional in this and is hard to believe the author didn't forget something (in my opinion). The author has provided such as complete picture of what is going on you can view it in your head and just imagine being there with them and part of the story. I received promotional credit for this book and this is my honest opinion.

The Time Walker: Book 3 in The Evers Series, is my third read from author Marie-Hélène Lebeault. I can't give any if you like this author you'll love this book comparisons but, you'll love these books. Valerie Rose Lohman's narration makes a very good book even better, the accents she affects help bring the characters to life. I can't imagine reading the book without her these accents. An entertaining read! I look forward to reading more from this author, in fact The World Jumper (The Evers Series, Book 4) is next on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
