Publisher's summary

In this amazing audiobook, Hans Holzer, renowned psychic investigator and ghost hunter, now turns his sights on another kind of game. On beings from beyond our galaxy.

They say they are here to warn us and help us not to destroy ourselves. Could they have some other purpose in mind? Why are they really here? The Ufonauts presents overwhelming evidence for the fact that they are studying our life forms and taking specimens of plants and animals. And people.

Holzer, Hoaxer? A Curious Ufologist

Holzer seems to have been more honest than some of the other famous UFO figures. At the end of the day I don't really believe what he was selling, but he was very good at creating it, like John Keel. With the author's reputation and the quality of this book and its narration, it's a must for fans of the UFO genre. Play it in a lightning storm, on Halloween, or on a deep dark night when you're sure that the Men in Black and the Mothman and a slobbering chupacabra are all sizing up your abode for a place to pay a most memorable nightmare visit!

Not what I thought it would be.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I'd let people know it's not a fiction space man story, it's more of a college text book.

What could Hans Holzer have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Make it a sci-fi novel.

Which scene was your favorite?

I can't really say as I am not a student of UFO history so when I got to chapter 3 I was done.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I have seen it, it was called "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".

Any additional comments?

I hope my old review (which I had removed) was not taken too seriously. I was kind of mad at the time. This one is more well thought out although sadly not a rave by any means.

MY FAVORITE SUBJECT

The topic of UFO’s NEVER gets old for me. This is one of my favorite subjects and has not only intrigued me but countless others as well. While it may be true that many stories have been heard and told before, I still always, always find something new and inspiring to love about them. I don’t seek out new information as there’s always something to be learned from the info that’s already out there if you’re willing to listen.

For anyone who has ever looked up at the night sky in wonderment or looked through a telescope at the moon, stars, and planets then you know there has to be something out there besides just us. We’re small. Too many people who are completely unconnected have seen things and told about them despite being ridiculed. Just to name a few right off the top are Ken Arnold and Betty and Barney Hill among many others.

Then you have the Roswell Incident where there have been eye-witnesses come forward years later and speak of what they saw. One account in particular is very close to my heart. I grew up near where the Aurora Incident took place. I was fortunate to have someone close to me take me to see where it occurred almost every weekend when I was growing up. Perhaps that’s what sparked my lifetime interest in the subject of Ufology. Many people in the Aerospace Industry are just as intrigued by these stories as I am. Some are looking for new info while others are completely satisfied with what we already know. There’s Mufon (Mutual UFO Network), as well as other organizations AND people who work daily to keep us updated on new information.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this audiobook for anyone truly interested in UFO’s, aliens, telekinesis, and more.

Kevin Pierce did a terrific job narrating this audiobook. He spoke clearly and made the book a pleasant listen for me. He delivered straight talk on my favorite subject with no interruptions. That’s priceless.

I believe

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I know many people interested in UFO's/

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Ufonauts?

The farmer that spoke to the aliens.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No I can't sit and listen all at once.

Any additional comments?

I thought this was great. I enjoyed listening to his collection of UFO data. He included real incidents that included names, dates and the what happened. After listening to this documentary of all the research the author has completed. It would be almost impossible to continue to be a non believer of alien contact with our world. Some of it was information I had read or seen other places. But that did not turn me off from the book. The author continued on with his explanation of the information that I had not known before. I was not very far into the book before the realization that he had put all the information together that I did not have before. I find books like this very interesting. I think it would be just as fun and scary too see a UFO up close. I believe we have been visited since the dawn of man kind on and off. I agree that cave drawings, the bible, and the ancient artifacts have shown many examples of UFO sightings. Even our own ancient Indian's have documented in their art of UFO sightings.

I would be excited to one day meet a life form from another world. Maybe in our life time they will finally make their presents known.

The narrator was very clear and precise. So he is easy to listen too in you are into UFO's, aliens etc....

I received this audio book free for a fair review.

Clarity

This volume is straight ward, no fluff or exaggerated speculation. I will add Hans Holzer to my favorite author list.

A Must Read

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Very well explained in every detail

What other book might you compare The Ufonauts to and why?

Have not read a similar one yet.

Which scene was your favorite?

All the contents are worth reading

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

No film from this book but a documentary for sure. The tag line could be: No de-bunkers needed.

Any additional comments?

All very well explained. Hans Holzer put a lot of valuable work work in his researches which makes the book very credible and interesting. Warning, when you start listening, it is hard to stop for a break.

Weak,not that intresting

What would have made The Ufonauts better?

More current information. Way too much small silly obviously invented fictional stories without much support and way too much BS.

Has The Ufonauts turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes.

What didn’t you like about Kevin Pierce’s performance?

The reader is good, not great, just good.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Ufonauts?

It starts off promising not to waste your time with old info, then quickly does just that, over and over again. There were well over two dozen events all said to be from the 50's to the 70's; and were all disjointed and without much real support or even believability.

Any additional comments?

Fair to poor at best.
