Publisher's summary

It's no secret that technology is moving faster than ever, but current business/IT strategies are not working. To survive the next wave of transformation, the relationship between businesses and technology must evolve. The Value Flywheel Effect is a technique already being used by next-generation leaders and companies to succeed in the modern competitive landscape. Combining the power derived from the Value Flywheel and the situational clarity provided by Wardley mapping, organizations are able to sense and respond to change, easily navigating the rough waves ahead, including migrating to the cloud and serverless.

This may be the most important book I listened to this year

A wealth of hard fought knowledge. I recommend this book to anyone that is in the middle of a business transformation or cloud migration.

Good principles but too much AWS bias for my taste

Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the constant mentions of AWS services. I would have preferred a broader and less opinionated perspective.

Insightful

Insightful book bringing a lot of concepts together. Wardley Mapping is hard for the uninitiated but the examples help get warmed up. Maybe a bit too much focus on serverless but I get the point. Overall a very enjoyable read and a lot to consider.
