Neat Plot Twists

Sam Tate, the new sheriff in Pickett County is haunted by The Wedding Crasher, a serial killer hunting and killing brunette brides-to-be left to be found wearing a wedding dress. Tate knows her past has something to do with The Wedding Crasher, but she can’t figure how. Time is fast approaching for another attack forcing Tate to speed up her crime-solving skills.
The author, Nikki Stern weaves an intriguing story with intense plot twists. Each character is well-developed and authentic dialog that flows smoothly between all characters. The plot progressed at a good speed with moments of suspense and ah-ha moments. As a writer of strong women, Stern not only shows the strength of the lead female character but also her doubts and inner conflict.

The narrator, Cathi Colas gives a solid performance. Her enunciation was clear and with appropriate emotion. I found her voice at times melodious and reflective of the storyline as well as the role of each character. I have not had the pleasure of hearing a performance by Cathi but am looking forward to hearing more.

I highly recommend this book as it promises to be an engaging and intriguing series.

The production and quality of this audiobook were perfect. I encountered no issues; it was clear and crisp.
