This is the first book in this series. Hanna Parker and family is traveling the Oregon trail. They meet Zion Campbell. He became there guide. Zion and Hanna takes a liking to each other but fights against it starting out. I liked this storyline. Ill continue with the next book. It took me a while to get used to the narrator but after a little bit I got used to her voice and liked it. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you

I absolutely loved this story. It has great flow, heart and characters that you quickly love and are invested in their story. I will admit I was pleasantly surprised at how clean this book was... I have read several other books by this author and many venture into the bedroom activities but this one does not. If you like a clean historical romance then this is it!

As for the narrator she's REALLY slow but if sped up to 1.3-1.5 times speed it is much easier to listen to and sounded more normal. I listened at 1.7x speed and it was perfect but I tend to listen a little faster. She's not my favorite but again I highly recommend upping the speed, it really does wonders for listening to her.

I half-listened to this one on audio, but then read the rest on ebook. The narrator on this one, I just...couldn't. Just couldn't. It is a great book, however. Loved the characters and story.
