Quickly about the narrator.... she has definitely improved over the books.
Violet is a great character....different from most.. she's unique. She's a perfect match for Daniel.
There's some plot surprises and twists and turns that keep you interested and guessing. There is a dark element which gives this book substance, but overall it's a fun and exciting love story.
LOVED IT!

All of them! Angela Dawe is FANTASTIC and I LOVE her portrayal of ANY of the Mackenzie men-SO sexy (performed by a woman, is that wrong?)10 Stars ********** !!!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Daniel's confrontations with the 2 men from Violet's past...without giving anything away, the scenes were intense!Any additional comments?
I'm not a fan of historical romance but Jennifer Ashley is fantastic and I wait with great anticipation for each new release!NOTE: Adult themes, some violence

Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Daniel and how he grew from each bookHave you listened to any of Angela Dawe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I enjoy her performance it took awhile but I think she is great and would listen to her again and again. She has a certain style her own and it's great.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A great finish to the series. Ian gets you pulled in at book one which was my favorite. But I enjoyed them all with no regrets.A great ending to a great series

Danny becomes infatuated by a fortune teller that has many persona. She was fairly tragic and damaged, and of course all of the MacKenzies come to the rescue in one way or the other.
Some times Angela Dawe's narration gets a bit - formula, but she does all of the voices very well and if I could, I COULD take a break. But I couldn't. :)
This is an excellent series and I was extremely happy to accidently stumble across the latest offering. I recommend it; I will be listening again. As a matter of fact, I might just start the series all over again. Very credit worthy.
