About this listen

The war on the zombies hasn't gone as expected. The army has been split into three parts, with Tommy and Duncan leading the charge through the southwest while John and Charlie deal with a problem that threatens the security of the entire campaign and the rest of the country. And all the while, a massive horde of zombies is moving its way across the plains, on a collision course with the survivors that will end only when one of them falls down for good.

A very fitting, satisfying, yet nostalgic ending

The ending was so peaceful, it left the usual void you feel when you finish a book, game or series, but I was satisfied with how it all ended. Wish some characters had better deaths though.

Stay tuned for the conclusion

The army has been split into three parts now. The northern army is still trapped in a box canyon of the Rock Mountains held captive there by a renegade named Cole Hobbs. John Talon has gotten word of the armies capture, he and Charlie head out to recon the area. Talon de-thrones Hobbs and his son, rescues his army, and heads out to rejoin the rest of the army. In the meantime a huge horde is making their way across the Plains, right for another branch of the army. Performing numerous hit and run techniques the Plains army reduces the horde to manageable numbers. The armies head for Denver to join up. They find that there is an extra huge horde numbering seventy-five thousand heading towards Denver and themselves. They’re going to need a large amount of luck to beat this mob. Stay tuned for the conclusion. Epilogues two and three close out the great series with befitting memorials.

Excellent end!! Don’t try the follow up series....

So the author wrote 3 more books about the kids in this series. I bought all three and was so excited to read them and see what happened next! The first issue was the narrator. He was just horrible. I can overlook this flaw because I loved the 9 books I just read!! Unfortunately the story was just straight up stupid. How can you start this off with two brothers who basically hate each other and expect the listeners to accept that? The other 9 books were all about friendship and loyalty and true “hero’s”
This should have been about two brothers who love and respect each other and would die for each other! That fits what the parents would have taught them. I returned all three.

Great ending great story

Literrally just got a little hurried at the end but honestly other than me wanting the Montana arc to have a little more meat at the end the series was just really good and closed pretty good

fitting end to the original books

if you enjoyed the "White flag of the dead" series, then "The Zombie Wars" feels like a fitting end to that.
