Publisher's summary

Being an adult has its advantages....

Lucas Abbott and his identical twin grew up sharing everything - including a reputation for funny, idiotic behavior. But now that Lucas is ready to shed that lovable-idiot image, grow up, and have a real, adult relationship, the joke’s on him. He and his twin have fallen for the same woman.

Crushed and hoping a few days on the slopes will work out his frustrations, he heads for Stowe, Vermont. All thought of fun and relaxation flies away as a car spins out in a snowstorm, and his firefighter/paramedic training kicks into high gear.

Danielle Rowson is hoping to pick up the pieces and build a new life for herself and her daughter in Vermont. Winding up in a ditch in the middle of a blizzard isn’t part of the plan - and neither is the kind, sexy rescuer whose strong hands pull them to safety.

Lucas has been a little kid, a big kid, and now an adult - and he discovers that adulting has more than one advantage. Especially when it comes to sharing with Dani and Savannah the one thing that’s his and his alone: his love.

Another wonderful Abbott Family story

Lucas Abbott and his twin Landon have always done everything together until they both want to date the same girl. Lucas decides to get out of town to clear his head and sees a car go into the ditch. Dani and her infant daughter, Savannah, are trying to start a new life in Vermont after the death of her fiance. Once Lucas saves Dani and Savannah, they are hardly out of his sight or thoughts. Going back to Butler, Vermont is like going home to visit with family. The Abbott family is wonderful, hilarious and loving. I love listening to Joan Delaware narrate these books bringing the stories to life. I like knowing that Elmer and Lincoln are going to try to get Landon his happily ever after next and I can't wait! Thank you, Marie Force for writing such wonderful books and putting them in audio.

Till There Was You

I am so glad I picked this series up again because I loved this book! I thought it was going somewhere very different and I was pleasantly surprised that it when somewhere else.

I loved Lucas’ HEA!! I loved the feelings I had while listening it felt like he was where he needed to be.

If I had one thing I wished was different was more scenes with his brother, they were so close in other books I missed that connection in this one.

Again loved the narrator she is fantastic.

Over the moon good!!

Was waiting for Lucas’s story, and it was worth the wait. What a warm and entertaining story. Finding love in a place that you don’t expect to find it, is the best kind of love. The Butler, Vermont series is one of the most wonderful series I have listened to in a long time. But than again I should not be surprised with Marie Force as the author. I always read and listen to her books in a couple days. Thank you Marie. I can’t wait to see what she has in store next with Landon’s story.

A visit with adorable family

What can I say about this book except it’s another phenomenal story by an amazingly gifted writer. It’s like visiting with old friends and just catching up. The narrator Joan Delaware has made the visit all the more wonderful. I simply love catching up and hearing all about the Abbotts . Lucas is a very special man and his story is heart felt and written beautifully . Pull up a nice cup of tea and simply enjoy. The Abbotts never disappoint they will fill your heart with love, hope and friendship.

ANOTHER WINNER!

Love Marie Force’s books and this one is no exception! This is another win for the “Butler, Vermont” series.

A wonderful story of love and healing.

Our main characters are trying to sort out their lives when they cross paths.

The hero is trying to figure out what to do when he falls for the same woman his twin brother wants.

Our heroine is trying to get away from her very overbearing family after she suffered a heartbreaking tragedy.

Lucas and Dani fall into each other’s lives under bad circumstances, but from then on the road towards love is mapped for them. They follow it, one slower than the other, but they finally get there!

I love stories with big, messy, nosy families who stand by you no matter what, and the Abbots are just the best!

Loved this story!

Loved the story

Reading a Green Mountain or Butler Vermont book is to me like going home to visit my family. I love the Abbott family and absolutely loved Till There Was You.

I have been intrigued by Lucas and Landon Abbott from the first time they were mentioned and my interest has only been peaked as each book in the series was written. So to say I have been waiting for Lucas’s book is an understatement.

Marie Force did not disappoint in any way. It is an extremely well written sweet, sexy and romantic book. Marie Force's characters are often slightly flawed, yet so realistic and relatable that you cannot help but be drawn to them.

Landon has always been his best friend, not just his twin, so to say Lucas is lost when they both fall for Amanda is an understatement.
Lucas is feeling adrift, resenting the one person he has always been able to depend on.

Escaping from his family, Lucas offers help to
Dani and her gorgeous little girl Savvy. Little does he know that decision will change his life for ever.

Dani’s story is heartbreaking and I admit to shedding a few tears as the story unfolded. It was heart warming to watch the growth and development of Lucas as he really came in to his own in this story and I loved it.

Till There Was You is at times a heart wrenching story of determination, courage, strength and above all love and acceptance. As always the Abbott family embrace Dani and Savvy with open arms and hearts.

The relationship between Lucas and Savvy was beautiful to witness. This is one of my favourite series and one I highly recommend and I cannot wait for the next book which promises to be just as amazing.

I do feel that the enjoyment may have been enhance by adding a male narrator to the mix but then that is just my opinion

Best yet in series

I love Butler, VT series and preceding Green Mountain Green Mountain series. The Abbot family and their country store make me hungry for maple syrup and nostalgic family fun. Lincoln and Elmer’s matchmaking penchant is adorable. This is a clan i’d Love to know. The only aspect I don’t enjoy are the too graphic sexploits. They are written almost verbatim in each hookup.
I’m not a prude but I think a little more could be left up-to the listener’s imagination. Still I look forward to the next meddling and the continuing saga of lovable Fred and adopted baby moose, Dexter. All around fun listen.

cute story

This was a cute story of a mountain rescue...but who rescued whom?
Lucas Abbott just celebrated his 27th birthday with his identical twin..but he needs to get away. You see, Lucas liked the same girl as his brother...he definitely needs some time away to sort out his priorities. While on his way to his friend's cabin, Lucas witnesses a car run off the road...firefighter Lucas to the rescue!
Dani Rowson has moved to Vermont to restart her life for herself and her infant daughter. After the devastating loss of her fiance', she had let others take over her life, now the 25 yo is ready to stand on her own. Off course she didn't think that she would run off the snow covered roads...or that she wouldn't be able to find lodging! Enter firefighter, and all around good guy, Lucas Abbott! Lucas rescued Dani and infant, Savannah, and then has him staying with him.
The story is sweet...following the friendship between Lucas and Dani and their growing feelings for each other. That said, while the story is enjoyable, it did seem to drag in places. Could have been shorter.
