Publisher's summary

The Cyrists are swiftly moving into position to begin the Culling, and Kate's options are dwindling. With each jump to the past or the future, Kate may trigger a new timeline shift. Worse, the loyalties of those around her - including the allegiances of Kiernan and the Fifth Column, the shadowy group working with Kate - are increasingly unclear.

Kate will risk everything, including her life, to prevent the future her grandfather and the Cyrists have planned. But, when time runs out, it may take an even bigger sacrifice to protect the people she loves.

Interesting story

This was a great addition to the series. Didn't end on a cliff -hanger... or did it?

This book was just as great as the other two books. It kept me hanging on you every word. I really enjoyed listening to the series and wished there more books! The narrator did a great job as well.

Enjoyed this one!

Any additional comments?

4.5 Stars...

To understand this book please read the first 2 novels first!

After the last book I was left a little confused on things, because there was so many splits in time. However, this book brings thing together nicely, and I was able to fallow much better. There was ups and downs, and there where times in the book, not too many, that I did not want to finish it; but I pushed through and am glad I did. (this is why I only gave it 4.5 stars instead of 5).

This book is the conclusion to Walkers Chronos Files books. And what a conclusion it was (that is all I will say on this because I just do not want to let anything slip out that might ruin this book for other readers.)!

In this book things are warped up, but it is left where there could be a spin-off series if the Author wishes too. (and I would not object to seeing one!)

Good ending to this series of this storyline

This book went along perfectly with the first two in the series. It definitely couldn't stand on it's own, but Walker did a good job of closing out this storyline...and beginning the next? Very interesting twist to the while storyline of Chronos. Begs the question, where did it really all begin?

Timey wimey at its best! Walker is a genius!

I have been completely obsessed with all things Chronos Files ever since I first read Timebound right after Skyscape released it. I have devoured each novella and book as soon as I could and have lost many hours of sleep staying up until the wee hours with the old "just one more chapter" scenario.

Time's Divide starts off exactly where Time's Edge ends with a surprise visit from a 5th Column member in an altered timeline, thanks to Kate's tireless efforts to save Julia Morelle Waters' parents in the past.

The book started off with a bang and never slowed down to let me catch my breath. Kate is probably one of my favorite heroines as she goes all in, no questions asked, to do everything possible to save the world from Saul's Culling.

As for being Team Kiernan, I have to say I was extremely satisfied with who Kate chose in the end! In fact, although a little saddened by a couple of the events, I am happy overall with this amazing conclusion of the series.

Walker is a timey wimey genius with the twists and crazy antics of time travel, and although my head spun more than a few times, I still managed to keep up. Genius!!

I highly recommend that everyone read both novellas (Time's Echo and Time's Mirror), which are POVs of Kiernan and Prudence, as there is so much insight into those characters which makes Time's Divide an even better experience.

I am experiencing major series hangover now and know that I'll be binge rereading the entire series within a few months. I know that Walker is planning at least one more Chronos Files story and with many authors venturing into her Kindle Worlds to write more Chronos Files stories, I hope to keep my addiction going for a long time!

I can't wait to see what Rysa Walker comes up with next!

Also Kate Rudd is one of my favorite performers!! She's brilliant in this entire series!

Amazing!

I am so sad to see this series end. Literally almost in tears. I read/listen to a LOT of books, which I honestly barely remember once I’ve moved on to the next book. This series has left a lasting impression on me. Loved them so much!

A Somewhat Satisfying Conclusion...

Okay...so I don’t really understand how a certain someone was able to be “saved” without disappearing...so another reviewer is right in that this part of the story is a bit too convenient, but I am a sucker for a happy ending.
All in all, this was a satisfying conclusion, and worth the listen. The many, many jumps up and down the time line are confusing without seeing the dates in print, but I decided the exact times weren’t as important as what was happening. The ending and the epilogue certainly leaves room for a continuing story line if the author is so inclined. Overall, this was a good story with a strong female cast, and very strong supporting male cast. If you like time travel adventure with a bit of romance and a dash of alternate reality/ futuristic theme, you will like The Chronos File Trilogy.
