About this listen
"Fear failure, not death."—Mantra of the US Military's Special Forces
Kita, the God of Evil, is running out of time. She must unite the galaxy against Aven’s oppressive domination to free her daughter from the deadly Aven slave mines. Kita’s task is made harder by a broken body and her partner cheating—no one throws a brokenhearted tantrum like the God of Evil.
Kita hates people who compound stupid mistakes with more. Currently, that person is Blu, the leader of Aurori. It should be a perfect match—Blu has thousands of mech pilots, and Kita has thousands of mechs. But Blu considers Kita a crippled obsolete cyborg running amuck who's gotten lucky. Even Kita’s Angel Apocalypse can’t persuade Blu Kita’s a deity. When the Aven fleet arrives at Aurori, Blu’s stubbornness won’t stop Kita. Once the battle commences, Kita faces the devil’s choice: save the fleet or the Aurorians.
After escaping, Kita knows the enemy will discover her fleet’s remnants. Kita’s only hope is an ancient space forge in an unknown galaxy capable of replacing her fleet. But they must survive a perilous wormhole jump on a black hole’s event horizon.
When Kita wakes alone in a derelict ship, she can see the forge. She must traverse the edge of oblivion to get there, and removing the lethal alien hive infestation is a suicidal gambit. To the God of Evil, there is no other way than forward. Failure risks a permadeath like Kita's friend or reincarnation as something much stranger…
If you like anime, science fiction, or an antiheroine bringing havoc, then you'll love Titan's Forge.
Will Kita succeed or face a death that has claimed her friend?

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Smuggling is supposed to be the kind of job where you're in, you're out, and no one ever knew you were there. Simple. Boring, even. But that's only when you're doing it right. Unfortunately, Avery and the rest of the crew of the Kingfisher have hit a snag, one in the form of a strange woman living in a hallway ceiling at Installation 23, and from there on out, it seems like they're ever only one jump ahead of the next guy looking to kill them.

Our retro-tech towns might seem idyllic, yet go beyond the arcades and coffee shops and you'll reach the danger zones roamed by bionic bots. Me? I ran a video store with my cute friend Emiko. She's always been a little different, so I had to look out for her—we usually just watched movies and played games together. One day, a suspicious pink-haired chick burst into the store, warning me not to watch a tape labeled Property of Steelheart—Do Not Watch! So obviously, I did, and a terrifying ghost crawled out of the screen.

Growing up, she was the girl down the street. Even then, I knew she was different. She was tough, rough, and had the strength to stop a speeding car with her bare hands. We were as thick as thieves, sharing every adventure. Then one day she revealed a secret. She wasn't from Earth. She was from a distant place called the Arcadia Multiverse. Her people lived under the rule of a god-like entity known as the System. That System had its gaze fixed on Earth. And it was only a matter of time before it came for us.

Varus the Elder Lich wanted nothing more than to spend eternity writing novels. He cared nothing for the fame or money, and never cared much about the total lack of company in his country cottage. He had his characters and that was plenty. Was, plenty. Until a chance interruption to his work brings some unexpected company into his unlife. It would take all his patience, all his wisdom, and more than a little of his sense of humor, to learn that sometimes being interrupted... Isn't so bad.

But when fear sparked a purge that intended to extinguish their ancient art, the world teetered on the brink of chaos. But turmoil brought forth reform and rising from the ashes of distrust, three young casting trainees, Kaito, Sumi, and Nigel, emerge as beacons of hope within the reinstated Legion of Shadow Casters.

Sci-Fi Revelation
When they said don't judge book by its cover, I said they are completely wrong. This book is a fresh enter into new year with excellent science fiction story. I hope it will continue. Recommended for Sci-Fi lovers.
And Maria's voice is great, funny at times and cute... I like it!
