To start with, this book gave me many very good ideas to help with some problems we've been having with our five cats, and one cat in particular. I will certainly be implementing many of the ideas in my efforts to help our loner cat to get along with the others. To be upfront, I've listened to several science-heavy books about cats and cat behavior so the language in this book was a bit off-putting and geared for a broader appeal. Mojo, mojofied, mojofication, catification all make me cringe and are used A LOT in the book. I'd have preferred more appropriate words like contented, confident, at-ease, etc... Despite this, I'd highly recommend this book as the knowledge is rooted in science and several prominent scientists are quoted. If you have a cat this should be on your list to listen to or read.

I loved this book I respect his work and commitment to helping us understand cats
We are always spreading the word of the Cat Daddy. It's also an opening to talk about our cats and we could go on and on about them and how superior they are because we walk the walk. Write more Jackson.

Where does Total Cat Mojo rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Pretty high. I wasn't a huge fan of the narrator for this book. He wasn't bad by any means but he just didn't seem a good fit for the content.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Galaxy of course.

What about Sam Osheroff’s performance did you like?

He was very clear and articulate.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not sure.

Narrator was very clear and articulate but at times emotionless and monotone. Not a horrible one by any means but it felt bland at times due to this.

My first cat

I have always loved cats, ever since I was a kid. I would read the really simple "how to care for your cat" books for kids in elementary school. This is like that, but for adults. There is a lot of information that gets simplified for children and on the Internet for short attention spands, but this is all the information you would need to care for a cat and even stuff I wouldn't have thought of. The audio was okay, I mostly use audiobooks because of my dyslexia, but I think I make need to get a physical copy for future use/recaps.

I got my first cat June 2019 and chose a Bengal. We have been learning about each other this past year. This book is fabulous and a real eye opener. It is helping me to understand my adventurous friend and eager to make our bond even stronger as I learn the world through his eyes. Thank you Jackson Galaxy!!!

Seriously, if you have a cat GET. THIS. BOOK! I would call this as close to a comprehensive to caring for a cat (or cats) as I have ever seen. The narration is good. Not great, but good! I may listen again or buy a physical copy to refer to.

It is packed with knowledge and experience that covers every aspect of cat guardianship and in a compassionate way. Mr Galaxy invites us to see feel and understand just how a cat experiences things or why they do things that we possibly do not understand as well. I believe this book would be immensely helpful to anyone interested in the quality of life for their cat.
