Publisher's summary

My gloves are coming off....

The Collectors haven't only made my life a living hell; they've made a game out of tormenting everyone I love.

And I refuse to stand for it any longer.

I'm committed to using all of the tools at my disposal to end their reign of terror - even if that means collecting every psychic ability I can get my hands on.

With Jameson, Noah, Mason, and Stowe by my side, and in my heart, I finally believe in myself and my abilities.

My name is Adele Rose, and I'm ready to embrace my fate.

Contains mature themes.

TERRIFIC READ

Extremely interesting premise in this 4 book series. A bit unbelievable, but love is an unbelievable thing.

Interesting with good wrap-up

I’m glad the author chose to wrap up all the strings to the story. However, I did not find this last book as interesting as the previous ones in the series. The whole series has no substance, very superficial—it’s like eating junk candy (not that that’s always a bad thing).
Some parts of the storyline are so ludicrous that I laughed out loud—especially the last chapter. I guess that’s why they call it fantasy.
The performance was pretty good. I liked the different voices, but some of the dialects were exaggerated.
Overall, this book is probably good for young adults. It is too explicit to recommend to teens, which is probably its main audience. I normally enjoy YA paranormal romances, but this was a little too young/superficial for me.

This was a gem

I love this series! The books were all the feels and had a great story line that never got lost. The love interest was so good and sweet. The ending was a great surprise but it really finished it up so nicely.

What an ending 😍

Woaaaaaaah so many twists and turns I was not expecting in this finale of the Collectors series! I adored this storyline and was so sad to see it over but really happy this author took the time with the plot, didnt rush anything, and gave us this beautiful world, amazing characters, and epic story that gave me a good book hangover afterward haha.

I won't give the big moment away but some high level things I loved and others things that frustrated me but I understood why it was done. I was so happy to see Jameson on board finally (he is adorable and so loyal but also 🔥🔥🔥), Noah's ending made me tear up but was so good, and I was sad to see one of my favs not be as present as he was in previous books (I understand why, still made me sad though haha). I enjoyed getting to meet even more awesome side characters, get to see some karmic justice be given (some got off too easy I think), and some really happy and devastating moments that come with life and death situations/wars. I knew something not so great was gonna happen with the side effects from the spell Adele did to boost herself in book 3 buuuuut I wasn't expecting what happened (was happy with it though). I felt bad for some of the other characters with what happened with the battles with Geppetto's guys, but again when there is war you don't come our unscathed. I was kinda sad we didnt get to learn more about some of the characters, not sure if it was just because of the end of the series or not (like I wanted to get more air time with Mason's mom). I loved George and Aunt Ruby, they made me giggle and smile so hard haha. Also, not sure what Gem's deal was with part of this series. I was on the fence with her sometimes but ended up liking her at the end.

I think I mentioned it in a previous review but I would love to get a spinoff or something from this world. the coven's hidden community and all the new characters we got to meet would be cool to see down the line (especially to see if one gets a happy ending after of her own) and maybe get a cool cameo from these amazing characters. I thought the ending was really satisfying, tied up loose ends and gave us a good sense of their future and happy ending ❤️

In terms of the narration, I would give it 5 stars with the addition of the male narrator. Great job by both performers (female narrator wasn't as OTT in this one I think - not as many laughable moments I guess haha), really brought it home at the end of the series.

OBSESSED

Loved the story. Everything felt very natural and not rushed like in most books of this genre. I appreciate the references to all the real world things (that I also love to watch) I’m pretty confident the author and I would be best friends IRL. Literally crying while driving listening to the ending. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!
