About this listen

While the crew of the UN Expeditionary Force's pirate starship Flying Dutchman are enjoying a luxury vacation cruise (not!), UNEF troops are still stranded on an alien-controlled planet.

Major Emily Perkins and her team are busy picking up the pieces, and it's not easy, because there is trouble on Paradise...

Great but....

I absolutely love this series. However I was disheartened like others to see a full price on a .5 book. Obviously I could have boycotted by not purchasing but its Expeditionary force so I had to have more. I agree with others that this should have been part of book 3. Can't wait for book 4.

$7.50 when you buy the Kindle book first for $.99

Alot of people are mad because they paid full price or used a credit for this half book Novella. First of all you can see the length before you buy the book so that's on you for not paying attention sorry. Second, if you check Kindle first you get a special price for the audible book of 7.50 when you buy the digital book first. Always check Kindle first especially when buying short books that cost full price on Audible.

debating this book? get it.

at first I was wary of this one, even though I love the series. being a shorter novella and not including the main characters, I listened to many reviews saying to not waste the credit. this was a fantastic book. the shorter novella was a great standalone. we get some good info on some minor characters and get introduced to a new awesome personality. wish I hadn't waited so long.

too short

feels like it should have been part of bock two, or part of the next, but too short as a standalone. I'm sorry I spent a full credit on it.

Great new addition to the series

no skippy, joe, or merry band of pirates but just as good as the other books in the series!

To short for the price

To short for the price, should have been part of previous book. It could’ve been shortened and added easily.

Different, but still good

Definitely not worth a credit. I spent $1 to buy the Kindle version then $8 to buy the audiobook, I can get more out if a credit then $9. That all being said this was a good back story to what has been going on on Paradise. Plus it appears it's not a book you can skip in the series. I am annoyed that it costs so much for under 6 hours but it is what it is.

Absolutely Loving This Series

So far I've loved them all. Only thing this one is missing is Skippy. Great story all around.

Enjoyable read

I read a lot of negative reviews for the book but i enjoyed it. It is short for requiring a full credit but the storyline and characters are fun and it does set up what I hope is another merging of these character with Joe and Skippy.
