About this listen

It’s time for SAC Gaines, also known as Hot Shot, to turn up the heat on the Inglewood 13s and get the vengeance he seeks for his family. Will he be able to maintain his professionalism without letting his emotions override the task at hand?

Turned Up is the third installment of the Hot Shot series. Hot Shot is back home in California. Operation Clean Up is his mission, but not his primary concern. He has been tasked with bringing down the Inglewood 13s gang, since they’ve been
targeted by the FBI. This suits Hot Shot just fine, because the Inglewood 13s are also responsible for the murders of his parents and his brother. This mission gives Hot Shot the opportunity to do his job and get the revenge he seeks.

Hot Shot has become increasingly more violent, almost to the point where he has no control, and that bothers him greatly. Yet, he’s dead set on murdering every man or woman that had anything to do with the murders of his family.

pretty good but its not as good as 1 & 2

I noticed a lot of discrepancies. like Cotton saying basically he wanted to get w Nola sister, in book 1 and 2 they already knew each other and had a relationship.

it overall was good. Cotton voice was different and that was off for me.
good book overall to series

never been so pissed off in my life

I love everything about this story except for the ending it is in my opinion the worst way ever to end the story there's no cliffhanger there's no suspense it literally just stopped and that is extremely irritating especially coming from an author who has written several good books and ended them very well I don't know what happened but this cannot happen again I'm still going to rock with you I'm just letting you know that I'm frustrated with how you ended the story.. other than that keep up the good work

Great story, same amazing narrator. But whyyyyy…the book just ended, I thought my device was acting up. Really?!? I’ll be waiting for the next book, go Hot Shot and Cotton

The ending hurt the book

It was a good story. Not as good as one or two but still good. The narrator was good but once again, not as good as the first two. The ending was horrible. I understand there will be more books but it still could have ended better than that.

Disappointed

This is another case of the writer being too lazy to figure out how to end it. So they leave a series of cliffhangers. There is a movie that starts out like that. Argylle. That is disappointing, because I usually like this author. Step it up please, and thank you.

Disappointed

I was disappointed in the way it ended. This was lame compared to the other two.

Boring, and predictable

It seems that black authors can’t finish SHIT!!!! I am totally turned off now when I see that it’s a black author, because you can’t finish a book, the ending is years down the road, and it takes so long, you’ve forgotten you ever read the story, this book was bland, predictable, and it didn’t get juicy until the last 5 minutes!!! Don’t waste your coins!!!!
