UNIQUE!

I absolutely love this book! If you want a story that's not like all the others, this is it! So creative! I love the characters in this book and felt connected to them all. The narrator has an amazing voice and does a wonderful job discerning between characters.

Big decisions ⚖️

Different PN story. The story of a young privileged, bitter, man that makes a fatal mistake one night after he thinks he was betrayed. Now he has the decisions for others who are looking for revenge and the biggest decision is his own soul.
Andrew McDermott is a new to me narrator, but I enjoyed his Irish lilt.
Gifted this audible book for a fair and honest review.

Great book

I had a hard time putting my device down. This was a great book. The narrator did a great job on the story. The story is very well written. I felt so many emotions throughout this story. My feelings for characters changing throughout the story. I love when a book draws your emotions into the story. The author is a great writer and I’m looking forward to more. This was a wonderful listen and I highly recommend.

Don't quit before it really starts!!

I almost did, everything about the main character irked me. I almost felt like moving on to a different story but I'm glad I didn't. After a few chapters it all started working out and I ended up really enjoying it! Narration really fit as well, curious where it leads

Dull Story Saved By A Great Narrator

I could not get into this story. It moved very slowly for me and I could not connect with the characters. I found my thoughts drifting off to other things. Honestly, I had to stop half way through and move on to a different story.

Even though the story was dull, narrator, Andrew McDermott, gave a great performance, as usual. I have listened to several of his books. His voice is always calm and soothing to me. He does a great job with speed, tone and enunciation. I do question the choice of using a narrator with an Irish accent for a book initially set in America. I was able to put that out of my mind, though, since the majority of the story is set in the “after-life” realm.
