Compelling and intriguing

very interesting and well thought out plot and setting. Narration is well done with just one narrator. So looking forward to book 3 in this intelligence and slow developing Christan thriller.

Great suspenseful spy thriller

I enjoyed this audio so much! The narrator was excellent. The story was so exciting and I just wanted to listen to the story all the time to find out what was going to happen next. The story was so good, I am happy to know and learn more about Titus Ray. I am so excited to listen to the 3rd book in the series. This was a Christian and clean story.

Thrilling Ride

Be prepared for a long read, that will hook you and not let go even when the book says the end. Each of the series keeps on going with the story getting bigger and more twists and turns than spaghetti. I would recommend this book.“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

The captivating story continues

What an amazing storyline. Talk about getting it right, it was like I was there, visualizing the roads, the surroundings, the smells and feels. Such gripping details and I can only imagine how accurate Caracas must have been described but however it is, the author captures such gripping details thru the narrative you can't help be being transported. Fascinating storyline that keeps you engaged. It's riveting. You also can't help but getting attached to the characters and hopeful that they make it work. They are perfect for each other. Just need to open the door.

Terrorism, Faith and Settling Scores

Brought out of year of medical leave, CIA operative, Titus Ray is sent to Costa Rica to find Ahmed Al-Amin, a Hezbollah assassin, and stop him from killing a government official. While he is there, he gets notification that his mother has passed away. Taking time out from his mission, he goes home and finds his newfound faith instrumental in helping his sister as they prepare for their mother’s funeral and burial. A long-time loner, Titus carefully shares with Carla his belief in Christ, who is surprised, as they had not been raised in church. When meeting with the funeral director and going over their mother’s prearranged plans, Titus took exception to what was discussed, noting that their mother had often mentioned God to him over the past several years, even though her mind had been ravaged from Alzheimer’s disease. Pleased and also remembering these times, Carla was relieved to turn over the planning of the service to Titus. This was only a small part of Two Days in Caracas, but a meaningful one for me. Still plugged in to the case in Costa Rica, Titus returned to his hotel room much of the time he was in town. Nikki Saxon, his friend from Oklahoma surprised him, coming in for his mother’s funeral, and meeting his family, who took to her right away. Teamed up with a rookie CIA agent, Ben Mitchell, the son of Elijah Mitchell, the well-known senior senator from Ohio, and a member of the Armed Forces Committee, Titus’ senses were on alert for any infraction from his junior partner. There’s plenty of action and intrigue, but no sex scenes or bad language. A great listen. The mission takes the team from Costa Rica to Venezuela, where the story culminates in unexpected ways. Can’t wait for the next in the series!

Exciting and entertaining

What did you love best about Two Days in Caracas?

It was intriguing.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how things were wrapped up. I will not explain as I do not want to spoil it for anyone.

Have you listened to any of Chris Abell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

First time, I believe. I enjoyed listening to him.

If you could take any character from Two Days in Caracas out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The dog. His two owners/caretakers would join us.

Any additional comments?

I was upset when the book ended. No, not now. I was ready for more. Just because the story was concluded, the lives of the lead characters were just getting more interesting.
