About this listen

a good detective story, not to take too seriously

If you like crazy detective stories with unexpected endings, this one is for you (even if you have to strech reality a bit, every now and then)

Starts very well; ends disappointingly

The build-up of the story is excellent and quite original however at the midpoint the flow takes a strange turn. The second half seems only vaguely related to the first part; and the resolution resorts of a magical insight by the protagonists, who out of thin air guess a far-fetched serial killer scenario (Technically they deduct it from a Home Depot and a Walgreen credit card transactions but most people who shop at a home improvement store and at a pharmacy are not twisted, serial killers). On the other hand, the narration is excellent and adds a lot to the pleasure of this audiobook. Also, Arnaud Romain does a very good job with the pronunciation of US locations (only Seattle is mispronounced).

Fin surprenant

Good beginning. Disappointing ending .

The book was narrated very well and was engrossing but marred by a farfetched ending.

My 2nd from Musso. I can't get enough of him!

My goodness... I absolutely love is characters and their flaws. I particularly appreciate the multi nationalism of his characters as well. Now for the next one.
