Mindblowing!
I have heard a lot about the benefits of techniques such as yoga, deep breathing, meditation, etc. But this is the first book I have read that explains some of the science and neuroscience behind why they work! This book explains how the vagus nerve is activated by these activities and helps suppress the stress response. Fascinating book, I highly recommend anyone interested in or skeptical to read this book to see the why's and learn some of these techniques!
