What a story!

I listened to the first book and thought it was great. This was a great continuation of the story. Wow! Elswyth has gone through a lot! Can't wait to see what happens next! I volunteered to leave this review.

Wolf

It seems as if the headline would have been more about the brother Gunalf more so than Erich. It was to be a story of passion and strife and Elsa’s confusion of where she fits into her new tribe but her disposition of where she stood with Erich and her confusion between the brothers, made it seem like she didn’t really know what she wanted. The story was okay, the ending was satisfactory but the narrator’s voice was a bit of a distraction.

Viking Wolf

A steamy listen that picks up right where Viking Thunder left off.

A tale with Viking lore and pagan ceremonies. Elswyth is a strong women, but when it seems that all is lost with Eirik, she succumbs to the temptations around her.

An entertaining story written by Emmanuelle de Maupassant and narrated by Emma Parry.

Loved this audiobook!

Holy Hot. If you like Vikings. If you like your Vikings incredibly sexy and rugged. If you like your Vikings incredibly sexy, rugged, and with bedroom gifts that are hotter than boiling ... read this book.

I've been reading erotica since I was of legal age to buy it. And thanks to audiobooks, I now can listen as well as read. Emmanuelle de Maupassant is one of my favorites for writing historicals that are volcanic. I'd already established a long time ago that this author knew exactly what buttons to push to make a book appeal to even the finest of connoisseurs of erotica. These Viking books of hers just bring it on home for me. This is the kind of book you blush when you read - not because you're embarrassed but because it is raising your body temp.

So, be brave, wear light clothing, keep your significant other handy cause these books are steaming! I highly recommend any of her Viking books, but you could start on this one and work your way up. :-)

Viking Wolf

This book is about Elswyth's struggle to find her place being from 2 worlds but not fitting in either. This book starts out with her leaving the home she knew all her life and going to live with the Northmen with the man she has come to love. Once there she continued to struggle for her own place and fearing to lose Eirik. It's a bit strange for me to read a romance with so much cheating however it seemed to work in this book and for these characters.
I think I would have enjoyed this book better if there were multiple points of view but the author still made it work. I don't normally enjoy first person stories however I can say that listening to a book written in first person is much better than reading it myself so again it worked out. The narrator did an ok job very easy to listen to.

Loved undying

The continuation of this story with a new life in a land so foreign. Emmanuelle kept me wanting to know if the two main characters would get together or be torn apart. Not only is this a story of your one true love but love of friendship unexpected. Emma’s reading is engaging and keeps you wanting to hear more.

great viking story

i enjoyed this book very much. Just when i thought i knew where this story was going, i was surprised that it took a new turn. I like that a book isnt easy to figured ever move out. i thought this a story that made you think about what you would have done. I found myself saying my thought out loud. this is part 2 of the series, and i think that they went together. i would say that you could read either of them as a single book, but its great when you read both books.

A Steamy Viking Romance

Viking Wolf is unique and cleverly written book and picks right where Viking Thunder left off. It's a compelling and sensual story loaded with passion and drama. Emma Parry performance is outstanding. I love her ability to modify her tone and timbre, notably for the male characters.
