About this listen

Best-selling author Philip R. Craig's popular Martha's Vineyard mystery series is filled with the authentic, fascinating details only an island resident like Craig could provide. Like the other hit books in the series, Vineyard Prey shows a darker and more dangerous side of this quaint community.

Winter has come to the Vineyard, and it has brought danger perilously close to the home of former cop J.W. Jackson. His friend and Vietnam companion Joe has sneaked onto the island, fearful of an unnamed threat. Years ago, Joe and several other government agents were embroiled in a bloody mess. Now only two agents remain, and a killer known as the Easter Bunny may be headed Joe's way.

A thrilling mystery from first word to last, Vineyard Prey shows that even the most idyllic places must contend with their share of malfeasance.

Love Vineyard images, feels like I'm there.

Read my first Philip Craig novel in a rental cottage on Cape Cod. This is my 5th Philip R. Craig novel. Love his characters, his reverence of Vineyard beauty, in all it's forms, and last but not least his delicious recipes using native ingredients. Fun reads. Let's me feel like I'm there. Thank you!!

Excellent and enjoyable

I'd never read or listened to anything else by this author, but took a chance on this during a sale, and was thoroughly entertained. It's well written, moves along at a good pace, has a sense both of place and of characters, and is well read in addition.

Give this one a try.
