About this listen

First there was the Voice of Reason, but now there is the Voice of Rage.

Harley Mason, you may love her or hate her, but never underestimate her. As the Masons settle down to a more normal life following the death of three family members, a shocking discovery of a schoolgirl found dead in nearby woods starts the finger pointing once again. Lewis Sanders, the detective on the case, struggles to believe that a teenage girl is capable of such a horrific crime. Yet the discovery of a second body could put Harley Mason in the frame. Is the evidence staring at him in the face, or is there more to it? Proving a link between the Gemini Gene and higher functioning psychopaths had been Dr Katherine Renee’s sole purpose until she had to discontinue the study. Now, she questions her own sanity. So, desperate to convince the police that Harley is the killer, is Dr Renee harbouring a dark secret of her own?

Brilliant!

This story was just as brilliantly written as the 1st one in the series. Physiological thriller with lots of twists and turns. Kerry is my new favourite author

Too much ridiculous talking and info and “added” characters that were never mentioned before.

I liked it from the beginning but it went on too long and became ridiculous the last 2-3 hours of the story.

Makes not sense!!

Just wanted it to end! Made no sense. Not worth the time I spent, not the credit I used!

No where near as good as the first one

I was so excited to start this one, because the first one was really good. But this one was hard to get through. I would say read book one and leave yourself wondering at the end and you will be completely satisfied without reading this one.

Not even close to Book 1, “Voice of Reason”

I had a hard time starting “Voice of Rage,” as it took five or six times. Kerry Barnes’ convoluted plot dragged and was nowhere close to the appeal of Book 1. Narration by Annie Aldington is well-done. I struggled to finish it, as this definitely did not live up to the its predecessor. I am returning it. The end? WTH? I haven’t written such a negative review in some time. Pass on this one…
