Publisher's summary

A year has passed since I raised a city of solid stone from the ground using the an ancient and powerful artifact. The city has thrived under my rule, aided by my queens, with a strong economy and hopeful souls arriving daily, seeking refuge and a fresh start.

But grudges die hard.

King Arandal, ever the spiteful one, has finally come to exact his vengeance. His soldiers swarm around my city walls like a plague of locusts and outnumber the stars. Assassins crept through the streets at night, their daggers thirsting for my blood and that of my queens. Using the mask against him simply wasn't an option, as I knew wearing it again was something I would not survive.

On the battlefield, Gisela is a whirlwind of death, cutting down all in her path. Lyanna, my ghost queen, terrorizes the enemy soldiers and drives them mad. Brinia dedicates her every breath to protecting Elise, for Elise carries our future.

With grim resolve and keen blades in hand, we stand firm against impossible odds, determined to protect our home and our people at any cost.

Loving this series!

This story seems to continue getting better as the MC and crew keep doing what they do as they continue to improve their lot in life! Also, wonderful job on the dual narration bringing the story to life for my ear holes!!

5 stars

Another great book by Micky Carre. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Even better that the first two!

I thought the first book was really good. Then the second book came along and out did the first. Now we have a third book and it was fantastic. The women really show their stuff in this one where before it was mostly the mc taking care of business. All of those fight scenes and sequences were really well written. The narration was once again on point. It takes real talent to get comedic/dramatic/emotional timing and execution to this level of performance. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Such an amazing conclusion to this series.

Cantrell has been promising all these women that he's going to be a king with a castle and they are going to be his queens.
Well, we find out in this final book of the trilogy whether or not he achieves his goals.
He didn't have the best time in book 2 and he's still got to deal with the king and his men.
And there's the slight problem with a dragon making its home where Cantrell wants to build his castle.
This is a great HaremLit series that you are going to want in your library.
I give this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

Was a solid 3rd/potential end

For what this book is it’s well written. Far too often these kinds of books get to heavily into the wrong kind of dialogue. It’s always like every other paragraph is some profound live confession or some pep talk about how important someone is for whatever reason. I found that this series kept a solid balance. Because we came for the porn but stayed for the story and really that’s what you are looking for in something like this. Not the porn is the story. And for that I give this a glowing review. And hope to see more from this author as well as hope he doesn’t end up like the rest of them out there.
