For fans of dark and twisty psychological thrillers comes a riveting suspense audiobook about how far obsession can go.
Kate Youngblood is disappearing. Muddling through her late 30s as a creative writing professor at Blackwood college, she's dangerously close to never being noticed again. The follow-up novel to her successful debut tanked. Her husband left her for a woman 10 years younger. She's always been bright, beautiful, independent and a little wild, but now her glow is starting to vanish. She's heading into an age where her eyes are less blue, her charm worn out, and soon no one will ever truly look at her, want to know her, again.
Except one.
Sam Grist is Kate's most promising student. An unflinching writer with razor-sharp clarity who gravitates towards dark themes and twisted plots, his raw talent is something Kate wants to nurture into literary success. But he's not there solely to be the best writer. He's been watching her. Wanting her. Working his way to her for years.
As Sam slowly makes his way into Kate's life, they enter a deadly web of dangerous lies and forbidden desire. But how far will his fixation go? And how far will she allow it?
In Watch Me, Jody Gehrman examines intense obsession and illicit attraction, introducing a world in which what you desire most may be the most dangerous thing of all.

Reseñas de la Crítica
"Jody Gehrman's mystery is just plain scary. Not only is she a clever writer, she's a terrific narrator as she performs the sections devoted to Kate Youngblood." (AudioFile Magazine)
Where does Watch Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I would say in the top 20%What did you like best about this story?
I especially enjoy psychopaths!Which scene was your favorite?
There were no favorite scenes; I don't want to give anything away. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did just that!Any additional comments?
As I said, I really enjoy psychological thrillers, especially when the protagonist is a psychopath, and he or she just doesn't get why other people in his or her world don't get how they think!Great!

POSSIBLE SPOILERS
I've read some really amazing books, and some that were amazingly bad.
But I have never hated main character more! I almost liked the psychopath killer more, and that's saying a lot. Some reviewer said that it's a wordy book, but I didn't have an issue with that, I quite like wordy books. But this main character? I mean I know that some authors purposely write unlikable characters, but I didn't get that impression from this one. And this chick is so self-unaware (for any age, and it's quite insulting to a reader) that I was literally yelling "please kill her, so this *wordy* water boarding can be over!" If you are going to get this book, please get it for free or on a really good sale, otherwise please don't!
