About this listen

Love is stronger than distance.... Finishing senior year is supposed to be the best time in a person's life. Finishing senior year as Julian's girlfriend should've been the icing on the cake. Knowing the secret that could change everything for him is the only thing threatening to spoil it all.

Until Jack returns. Anna and Julian are together at last, and it's as hot and happy as they knew it would be. The only problem is The Secret. And Jack. But while Anna is determined to fight for the guy she loves, she could still lose Julian when he discovers the truth she's been helping to hide.

A full-length New Adult contemporary romance family saga. Recommended for listeners 13+ due to mature themes and mild sexual content.

Good

I really like this book and would recommend it. It had a great storyline and great romance. I think if they didn't want the children upset about what happened in the past the author could have taken it down a crazy twisted road. Like Meg and Bill knew Alex wanted a baby without the traditional way and he donated his sperm. LOL

Then no hard feelings about Meg's wreck. Then when the children were much older told them or let them read the journals. lol

Can't wait to hear the next book!

I love this series and I love the narrator!

I am enjoying this series! The narrator is great in my opinion! Not quite finished with the series but book 4 is probably my favorite.

Good Story!

Finishing high school and trying to decide which college to attend, Anna wants to be close to Julian but ends up going to a different school.
After learning the Secret and keeping it t herself, Anna has to act as if she doesn't know anything. If Julian learns the secret that she has known and not told him, she may lose him for good.
This story is heartbreaking in so many ways that you want to hold everyone because everyone has some kind of pain or problem. So sit back and enjoy this addition to the Dragonfly series.

Very young story line

The story it's self was will written. The only thing was the main character working a nerve. It just didn't seem realistic for anyone to be so annoying. The dramatic monologues were a bit much.

Questionable Outcome

Not thrilled about how some of the characters, because of their actions, will appear to undeservedly live happily ever after.

too lost loves

I wish I had a love like this when I was in school. To sit and listen it makes me wish for lost loves from high school, I never had a lost love from high school.
I was too busy trying to make it in the real world. And my girlfriend at that time was to busy playing the field behind my back.

An average HS tale kinda dull

This is the 3rd book of the series. It was not good. It was not bad. It was average. It most certainly was not the adult romance of book 2, instead it moved back to the YA genre. The biggest issue with this book was how little it moved the story along. Each time there appeared to be a build up of a situation it fell flat. The preview hinted that there would be angst for Anna & Jack. There was not.

Aside from a few sweet moments shared by Julian and Anna the story was boring, like reading someone else's HS yearbook... zzzz. I think these books could have been condensed into just 3.

The writing style also seemed different than the 1st 2 books, not as polished. This time the author used lots of juvenile identifiers for the dialog such as I said, she said, he said.... ugh it was frustrating.

Doing Too Much

This girl is a busy body. She is too young to be in adult business the way she is. She needs to stay in a child's place. Her coincidental way of coming up on conversations that she shouldn't, got on my last nerve. She was doing too much and I was sick of her character by the 2nd chapter.
