Publisher's summary

Everything's bigger in Big Sky country, including the hearts of the Montana Men

Wide open sky, rolling green hills...Gillian Tucker could get used to life in the country - one far from the violence she left behind in San Francisco. Warily accepting an invitation to the Montana ranch that belongs to her grandfather, a man she's never met, Gillian hopes this is the haven she seeks. A sexy, overbearing cowboy who shines a light on her well-hidden dreams is not at all part of her plans.

Blake Bowden's reckless past is far behind him, and as a newly named co-owner of Three Peaks Ranch, he's not taking any chances. Until a beautiful, haunted woman arrives, igniting a desire he shouldn't feel. His partner's granddaughter is strictly off limits. But the longer Gillian's there, the stronger the pull between them grows. And when a new danger surfaces, Blake will do anything to keep her safe - even if it means risking everything for her heart.

Love it !!!!

What did you love best about When It's Right?

I have to say after reading some of reviews that were posted I wasn't expecting much . But boy was I surprised I have to say I think this was Jennifer Ryan's best work.. I loved Blake & Jillian story line ... I was nice to lesson to a relationship that is more gentle .. The way that Blake took his time with her was really nice ...

What was one of the most memorable moments of When It's Right?

When Blake said he loved her ..

What does Coleen Marlo bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She was good .. as someone who owns more then 100 audible book it is all about the person who tell the story & the best books have more than one voice like this on has .

This is probably my least favorite of Ms. Ryan's stories. The characterization was good as always but unlike most of Ms. Ryan's previous stories this one was predictable and seemed to be never ending. Ms. Marlo did an excellent job.

Great

This was a brilliant love story tucked beneath unfortunate but true life hurt and abuse. The outcome though somewhat predictable was exhilarating. The narration was great as usual.

Superbly written, encasing all the characters in believable lives.

Blake and Gillian have many strikes against them for establishing a relationship. Can love conquer all? Narration is perfect.

An Excellent Read

This novel does an excellent job of showing the strength to overcome adversity, the courage to never quit, and what love and honor bring to life. Jillian and Blake were perfect together. Love can be a healing balm.

Another good story

Would you consider the audio edition of When It's Right to be better than the print version?

Not sure.

Have you listened to any of Coleen Marlo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Very equally.

Any additional comments?

I dislike the violent way all these books start, but I also see why. It is a necessary evil to bring forward the caring and protective nature of the men.

Not her finest book -

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I spent most of the time listening to this book being annoyed by the lead male character, annoyed by the inconsistencies in the story line just to keep it going and the dramatic enunciation by the narrator. I am almost done listening and will finish it simply because overall I like Jennifer Ryan as an author.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator's emphasis on the "L" syllables and her drawn out - snooty vowels drove me crazy - I tolerated her for the other stories by Jennifer Ryan, but this will probably be the last one I listen to by this narrator.

Any additional comments?

I think this was the weakest story by J Ryan and I've read or listened to most of them, and very much enjoyed the others. I am surprised by how much I didn't like Blake, she never developed him or allowed him to be the protector the story claimed him to be. Will still read her books, Dane's story will be next, but I won't listen to anymore narrated unless another performer is chosen.

Narrator Drove me Crazy!

I loved the first Montana Men Book, so I hoped the second would be as good. The story is pretty good, except for the fact that the heroine is only 20. I don't remember having a problem with the narrator on the first book. In this one, she (the narrator-not the heroine) has a strange accent which feels totally fake. I probably won't listen to any more of this series since the narrator is the same.
