Love this authors books but this one really pushes the imagination to the point of getting too unrealistic even for fiction Corny unrealistic ending.

Well-performed story telling by Joe Jameson. A talented effort to present the work of a talented author. Well done. Thanks.

The only negative CRITIQUE would be what I would call a failed attempt to imitate American dialects. it would be better not to attempt it at all. I would also fail any attempt at reproducing a British dialect. I think it better to describe it than mimic it.

Another excellent story from a master of the craft! I would suggest this book to anyone who loves a good story. Wilbur’s power to transport me to the places he writes about never ceases to amaze me!

The first part of the book was good, but it fell flat towards the end.

After 60 years of reliable and thrilling African historical fiction it hurts to hear his successors fall so short. The plots of Wild Justice and Warrior King are thin and predictable; the research incomplete [ imagine not revealing Bulawayo as ‘ The Killimg Place’ , and not leaving the reader with a sense of SHYAKA ZULU’s imprint on southern Afrtica’s ethnicities eg. the Shona people and others. Except for the opening Wild Justice exhibited little knowledge of the continents 54 nations and their cultures. Scenes were over described, to the point of distraction, so unlike Wilber Smiths moving but effective prose. Thankfully we are still blessed by skillful narration. Hopefully, ‘The School of Wilbur Smith’ will get its act together. Lots of great Cinema yet to be tapped from his life’s work.
