I loved the story line of the book but hated that it left you waiting in the next book to be completed in June. It could at least finished cane and jul story but kept suspense of her fathers actions.

Everything is great! from the storyline, narration, dialogs and the cliff hanger... I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. Sebastian York has proven again and again what a great narrator he is. The way he sounded the female voice is very impressive, better than most female narrators out there.
Get this audiobook now... I promise you, it will not disappoint.

Cade Warren and Julianna “Jolie" Stark met and fell in love while attending Stark Academy. Her father was headmaster as well as a violent man. In order to be together, they decide to runaway after graduation when they will both be 18 years old. Only, when the time comes, Jolie doesn’t show up to their meeting place. He goes in search of her and almost doesn’t walk away. He nurses his broken heart with crime and violence. He’s found by Donovan and saved from a continued life of crime. Cade, Donovan and three other alpha males become partners in a worldwide business that is very successful. Now Cade works overseas and has a very full bank account. Just when he is planning to return to the states for a wedding, he receives a surprising email from Jolie, asking for a meeting. He is shocked beyond belief when he hears what she wants. Will he agree and possibly be hurt again?
I have never read a book or listened to an audiobook told strictly from the male character’s POV and I really enjoyed it. I listened to this audiobook with Sebastian York as the narrator and he did a phenomenal job with his sexy as hell voice. He easily helped pull me into the story and really feel for Cade's part. I was held engaged until the shocking cliffhanger. I’m really looking forward to the next book. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Fantastic start to what I believe is the last trilogy in this series.
Loving this "couple" reading quickly wanting to know more about their past. They ended messy and it seems their hearts didn't get the message, loving their reconnect. He is hurt and a bit damaged by their past and she isn't much better off. But Gah they are so hot and all the feelings are rushing back.
We are also working through a mystery that links to their past.
But WOW! the ending I NEED the next book NOW!!

An Interesting and unique story, which followed from the Donovan Kincaid sagas. I liked that the writer brought Cade Warren character to light. Thus far a suspense and intriguing story. Although not crazy about Sebastián York carrying this entire book, even though be does a good job with most of the characters. A female narrator, along with would have made this book richer.

This is book 1 in a trilogy so I know I will be on the edge of my seat for the next 2 books! We have met all of the men in this universe, but Cade has always intrigued me and I couldn't wait for his story. WOW! What a start!

Cade and Jolie were supposed to run away together when they were younger, but Jolie never showed up. When she calls Cade after years, he can't help but want to help her. So many unresolved feelings surface. These two have insane chemistry and Ms. Paige weaves a delectable tale. This is a second chance romance that I'm dying to finish. Great start!

I’ve been waiting for this series to finally come out since I love the other men in this book-verse. Laurelin Paige is an automatic purchases for me and this one didn’t disappoint. What an interesting story and the cliffhanger answers a lot of lingering questions throughout the book.

Great listen. I prefer dual POV and when an entire book comes from the male perspective I get nervous about the crudity of inner monologues. Cade was very mature and the writing don’t bother me. Well done.

Wow! Talk about suspense! This has it all including having to wait for the next book! That’s a bummer! But this was very good and with Sebastian York reading... made it even better!
