Entertaining, if a bit predictable

My first Johnstone book, and while not blown away was not at all disappointed. Helps that my favorite narrator, George Guidall, is reading it to me... Gets a bit mired in seemingly mundane details, but makes up for it in fast-paced action scenes. The writing seems authentic as to the speech and attitudes of the time period. Good enough that I plan to listen to more titles.
