Great ending

Nice narration of the two fairies in the same scenes - bet that was a challenge. This was a great conclusion to a very entertaining series! I hope these characters get more books.

Sweet PNR Cozy Mystery

This whole series is just sweet. Great for lighthearted fun, an escape from the pressures of everyday life. This story wraps up the Lola Sphinx story arc. There is an overall story arc, but each story is an individual mystery and can be read/listened to as a stand alone, They actually read better if you binge, if you read them as a serial rather than individual books. All this being said, I wish I had read the series instead of listening to it. My complaints remain consistent throughout. If you've read any of my reviews of the previous books, than what follows is nothing new.
1. Reviews are important; I understand this. I understand an author's appeal for reviews. But to interrupt the book twice, give instructions, and wait for the listener to write the review - that's off putting. By the time I'd finished listening to this, the 6th book, I'd had enough! I will not be listening to these again, or more by this author.
2. This narrator doesn't have an unpleasant voice, but that's about all I can say. She pauses in the middle of sentences, much like a child force to read in front of the class. It's very distracting and pulls your attention away.
3. The narrator attempts voices for only some characters. Either do voices for each character, or do none. Plus, the way she voice fairies was simply to pitch her voice high. By this book, I was praying the fairies wouldn't talk. NOT well done at all!
Good luck to the Lori Woods and Lily Maine in the future, but I'm done.
