Publisher's summary

Tyler

When Liam and I were paired together on the Mates.com app, I really thought it might go somewhere. The chemistry between us was sizzling, but he never called me back. Now, my business partner thinks that I should ask Liam for some business advice, but I’m not sure. I’ve come this far on my own...and this thing between us? Pure distraction.

Liam

I wasn’t ready to date Tyler, but it wasn’t his fault. Discovering that my ex had found his own fated mate had just about wrecked me, and I wasn’t ready to take a risk with my heart again...even for a cute omega who pressed all of my buttons. But working with Tyler might just lead to the second chance we deserve.

Worth the Chance is a stand-alone male pregnancy shifter audiobook featuring a playboy alpha, one fiercely independent omega, and, of course, a HEA sure to make your heart swoon. This book and others in the Hunter's Haven series can be listened to in any order.

Definitely "worth the chance" to listen

I loved this audio book. I was worried about listening to this story since it's Book 4 and I have not read the books before. No worries, it stands on its own and the story was so enjoyable and heartwarming. For a short story, it's pretty in depth. The narrator, J. Bordeaux, did a great job. He kept me so focused on the story that, next thing you know, book's already done and I was hoping for more. The narrator portrayed the characters perfectly and it was so easy to follow.
I definitely would recommend this short book and will make sure to listen to the previous ones and continue with the series.

Fated Mates

This is another wonderful story from Hunter's Haven. I love this entire series. Each book is a standalone but narrator J. Bordeaux does an absolutely amazing job in bringing the characters to life that if you haven't heard them all you should. I love his voice and you can tell he really enjoys what he's doing.

Worth a read

Liam has been hurt before and afraid to let Tyler in. Once he does they both need to learn to compromise. There were several references to Tyler having issue letting someone in, however, it was never explained. Other than that it was a good story and the narration was perfect!

A very enjoyable series

I am really enjoying this series. This is the 4th. book in this series, I have found these books to be well written, solidly portrayed character's and even though their were a couple of instances where I wanted too reach into my kindle and slap the you know what out of Liam after the way he treated Tyler. But in the end everything came out just fine. Mr. Bordeaux's narration certainly added more to the over all enjoyment to the Audible version of this book! These books have been a solid reading experience and I would recommend them to any one who is looking for a good series of books! An avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Better the Second Time Around

Worth the Chance is a second chance type of romance. Our MCs were matched through a dating app, and they enjoyed one date together.

This story is fairly angsty as both MCs have baggage from former relationships, and are reluctant to trust themselves or their inner wolves. Definitely don't trust each other.

Finding themselves working together on a project, they are spending concentrated time together. Intense heat, with pheromones in the air, lust hits. With an unplanned pregnancy complicating their uneasy relationship, more self doubt and angst insues.

Narrator J. Bordeaux reads the story in such a way that, while the characters struggle, they are not bogged down in their own self pity.

Another terrific entry to the series

I’ve been really enjoying this series. This book shows how important communication is and just as importantly listening to those around you. The narrator does a great job and tells the story with lots of emotion so it’s easy to get lost in listening to what happens to Tyler and Liam.if you’ve listened to others in this series, you will enjoy this.

enjoyed it

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes

Story comment: good pace, entertaining story and likeable characters who learn that relationships take work and communication is key!

I enjoyed J. Bordeaux's narration and think he's done a good job narrating Worth the Chance. He has good rhythm and intonations, I had no problem distinguishing characters or feeling the emotions of the story.

Great!

I really loved this audiobook! The story was passionate and moving. Liam and Tyler are shifters who went on one date but then Liam ended things between them because he liked Tyler more than he was comfortable with and was afraid of being hurt. Tyler convinces Liam to give things between them another shot but then isn’t comfortable with feeling like he’s losing control of things.

The narration of this book is excellent. I love the voice quality and pace and the narrator reads even the sex scenes very emotionally.

Liam & Tyler

Neither Liam and Tyler expected to find a mate. Tyler is independent and will not be subservient to an Alpha. Liam's ex cheated on him and has been determined to never settle down. It a very difficult situation for them to navigate. A dynamic couple if they can compromise and communicate better. A great narrator.
