About this listen

Sascha has always felt powerless, the weak baby of a cruel family. But that’s fine. He has his looks, his ample allowance, and a smattering of one-night stands to keep him busy. But when Sascha’s oldest brother offends the wrong people, Sascha finds himself in hiding with a target on his back. And when poking around in his temporary home leads to accidentally summoning the hottest demon Sascha could ever imagine, he has to ask himself: does he want to feel powerless anymore?

Kai has been waiting centuries for a summons. When he’s at long last brought to the human realm for his final contract, he expects to find another warrior hungry for battle and bloodshed. Instead, he finds himself bound to a saucy, scared mobster princeling who can’t stop looking at Kai like he’s dinner. It isn’t long before Kai decides that—for once—he wouldn’t mind staying exactly where he is, with a certain human for his mate.

But Sascha isn’t used to anyone sticking around, let alone caring for him in any real way. It’s up to Kai to convince Sascha he can give him so much more than protection. He just has to deal with those pesky enemies—and Sascha’s own meddling family—first.

Wreaking Havoc is a heated MM paranormal romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger. It contains a spoiled (or is it traumatized?) mafia prince with trust issues, the cocky warrior demon who wants nothing more than to pamper him for eternity, a stifling family, elusive enemies, and the frustration of never getting to finish a manicure.

So funny and moderately spicy

I absolutely adore this author. This book takes place in the same universe as her MM vampire series and it was so rewarding having read all of them to see some old friends. It's a comfortable listen where the drama isn't overly dramatic. I can't wait for the second book to be narrated. Thank you Grae!

A Demon Should Never Assume!

I loved how Kai figured he knew what was coming when he was summoned. Well, nothing could have prepared him for the handful of pretty that was Sascha! His nonchalance gets a run for it with Sascha's Sweet but quite Spoiled attitude. I loved that Sascha was so real and jaded because of his privileged up bringing. Under all the attitude and Sass, he just wants to be genuinely seen and cared for. It was amusing to watch Kai make so much effort to win his Sascha. Michael Ferraiuolo brought these characters to next level! Great listen. Bring on more Demons!

Good

This was decent. I feel like it was drawn out a bit more than it should and went off on rants for no reason.
Sasha’s character kinda annoyed me. It’s not something I’d listen to many times, but was a cute book. It was a tad funny as well.

Sascha and Kai are awesome!

This is the first in a spin off series and I think you can pick this up without any prior knowledge and enjoy it. That being said...if you just listen to Johan before hand, you get Alexi's story (who happens to be Sascha's brother) as he doesn't make a cameo appearance. Sascha is sent to Maine since someone stabbed him in an attempt to send his oldest brother, Ivan, a message. While there, Sascha accidentally summons Kai and makes a pact with him. This was a fun story with a lot of heart. Sascha is sassy and thinks he's spoiled because he doesn't take part of the family business. Kai shows him what being spoiled is actually like while also protecting him from enemies. Sascha loves that Kai's possessive since being abandoned is totally a fear he has. The characters are fantastic and I can't wait to listen to Ivan and Nyx's story. Michael Ferraiuolo is a narrating genius and one of my all time favorite narrators. He does an incredible job of brining these characters to life and frankly if nothing else, get it to listen to him!

Superb!

This audiobook was an amazing reading experience. The story was highly entertaining and the narrator was top-notch.
Wreaking Havoc is book one of the author’s new Demon Bound series, in which the characters meet their mates in demons they have summoned. We start the series with Sascha, brother of Alexei (from Johann, Vampire’s Mate book 4) and member of a mob/mafia family. Sascha has been attacked as a message to his oldest brother, the current family leader. While he’s hiding from the enemy, he accidentally summons a demon, Kai.
Sascha is a sassy, saucy, size queen. He is perfect for Kai. He thinks very poorly of himself, and it is beautiful to see him develop into a stronger person with confidence as a result of Kai’s love. Kai changes, too, from a full-time warrior into a loving and devoted mate. He focuses all of his attention on making sure that Sascha is safe and loved. The book is just full of exciting, great moments and all around a good read.
Michael Ferraiuolo is a brilliant narrator. He just brings the characters to life when he is narrating. I had previously read the ebook, and I can tell you: it was a whole new experience with his voice as narrator. He does a great job differentiating the various characters and their emotions. Highly recommended!

Looking forward to more

I liked the new characters just like their other series. The plot wasn’t particularly complicated but I like the idea of exploring each of the brothers’ separate experiences- and assumptions about each others’ based on their limited views- within the same violent family. Then the demons add more fun!

I’m brave enough for the both of us. 🖤

Wrecking Havoc is book one in Grae Bryan’s Demon Bound series. This series is a spinoff of Vampire Mates. The series starts off with Sascha, Alexei’s brother (Johann, Vampire’s Mate #4) is. Sascha is a spoiled mafia prince and is attacked to send a message to the eldest brother, Ivan. Sascha goes into hiding in a small town in Maine and accidently summons Kai, a warrior demon.

« warrior demon x mafia prince »
« accidental summoning »

« unique demon anatomy »
« possessive & protective vibes »
« size difference »

Sascha is a sassy and mouthy twink who is a total size queen. He tries his darndest to resist the hulking demon who is equally alluring as he is arrogant.  Kai gets what he wants, and he is certain that what he wants is Sascha.

I absolutely loved Sascha and Kai together. Kai was a warrior with a restless soul – until Sascha. Sascha sooths him and makes him content for the first time in his long life. Kai is happy to just love, pamper, and care for Sascha. Kai makes Sascha feel so cared for, understood, and protected, like no one else ever has. It is through his care, protection, and acceptance that Sascha becomes more secure and confident in himself. Kai is a perfect mix on cocky arrogance and caring, and Sascha is a mix of salty sass and sweetness – they blend so perfectly together.

I found myself laughing one minute, swooning the next, followed by feeling the heat from those steamy scenes! I loved the possessiveness and protectiveness that I have come to love and expect from Grae Bryan. Kai is protective and has moments of possessiveness, but it comes from a place of care and devotion and not ownership. As always, Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing with the narration! I can’t wait to listen to Ivan’s story next!

Fantastic start to another wonderful series!

When you only want to paint your nails but accidently summon a demon.  Grae Bryan’s new series starts with a bang with Wreaking Havoc.  Sascha is in hiding and one night as he’s trying to paint his nails, he accidently summons a demon and gets a built-in bodyguard in the form of Kai.  Kai is on his last contract and ready to be done, but there’s something about the small human that seems to tug at him.  Grae Bryan has such a knack for writing books that have not only heat, but heart and humor.  Add in Michael Ferraiuolo’s amazing narration and it’s a winning combo!  I absolutely fell in love with Kai, who is an absolute cinnamon roll (but only for Sascha), and it was so nice getting to know more about Alexei’s youngest brother.   This book will have you laughing, crying and rooting for the unlikely but sweet pair!
