About this listen

The next installment of the Grainger and Clark family saga is all about mercy - God’s mercy, but also the forgiveness of friends and family to those they care about.

Changes abound in Twin Lake and Holton, as some people leave and new people arrive. There is joy to share and mysteries to solve. There is love and laughter, birth and death, and new growth.

The woman called Mercy is threatened with her life, while a younger woman named Marigold tries to hold it together in order to change her life.

You won’t be disappointed with the new events in town and on the farm as life goes on in Muskegon County.

A SLIP IN TIME SERIES

the series is engaging, love the characters! my big disappointment was that each book ended in the middle of the story. I enjoyed it so much, the author didn't have to use a ploy to get me to buy the next book in the series...I couldn't wait to hear the next book! also the last book in the series ended again in the middle of the story. it's devestating not to have an ending!

Can’t get enough!

Love this time travel series! And now a new twist with new characters! Can’t wait to get started. The narrator is one of the best I’ve ever heard! Bravo!

Incomplete ending

I’ve enjoyed the series and stories of the characters, but there’s a lot left hanging for several of the characters ( main and supporting) Perhaps another title will be forthcoming in the series? It would be nice to see what happens/becomes of Dora, Fran, Jake, Mavis, Ruth, Mercy, Luke and Marigold and all the kids etc.! there’s a LOT of loose ends! It feels like the story ended in the middle especially since new characters are introduced at the end of the book- Frustrating not nice to the reader especially without any epilogue from the author…. Please tell the rest of the story

Best one in the series so far

I’ve been systematically listening to each in order and ngl they are very slow and explain too often what are givens. But finally one that doesn’t focus entirely on just one storyline. There are enough characters to bounce between all making it the best one so far. I have to listen at 1.5 or 1.3 speed so I don’t get bored with the slow moving but I really enjoyed this. I love time travel and love the period.

What a wonderful series this has been! I am glad I found it when so many books were already done so I didn’t have to wait to listen to the next! If you want to feel like you are from a small town in the 1800’s this is the series for you! I love all the characters! In fact they feel like family at this point! And the narrator is AMAZING! She does a wonderful job with all the different characters! Start this series today! You will love it!!
