In all seriousness, I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants a better understanding on systematic theology, believer or not.

This is a must read for every believer!! Though I’ve been a believer for over 4 decades, this book has been an incredible learning experience! I can’t wait to listen to it again! I also have a hard copy so that I can read and underline. This truly is a must read!!

Solid Teaching

While this was a good book— the authors had such a heavy emphasis on the “three people of God” that they failed to recognize God is not three people. He is One— He is Spirit, He has a Soul (mind/will emotions) and He lives in a Body. THIS is what makes Him a “triune God”… but being made in His image— we would also be triune people, correct? Am I different person when I am a mother or when I am a wife? No— my responsibilities are just different. God is One, and His name is Yeshua

Commitment to using every day language to communicate theological concepts is difficult. Thank you for making the effort. It makes theology accessible to everyone!

The content was fantastic. It gives a great taste of systematics that makes you want to pick up both your Bible and a longer systematic theology text! I loved the authors reading the book!

Loved this book for its simplicity, accessibility, and applicability. Definitely recommend it to long time pastors and church-goers and those for whom following Christ is very new.

I loved how clear and to the point this book was. I definitely recommend it for anyone, even those well versed in theology because you can never go wrong with relearning some basic truths.

The content of this book was excellent, but hearing JT turn pages was quite distracting.

This was one of those books that, while I enjoyed hearing Jen & JT read it to me, I wished I had the physical book. The fact that there are reflection questions at the end of each chapter made me want to be able to go back and reread. There were also a couple points where I was like “Oo! Say that again!” Maybe I’ll grab the physical copy one of these days.

Overall pretty good. I did catch a couple edit fails - clipped words or accidental repeated lines. Also, kinda feel so so on hearing pages turn when JT reads. That perhaps was a creative decision to allow it, but I think it’s more distracting than delightful. But maybe just me.

I feel like it’s ones of those books I could probably read a few times as a refresher.
