Is it the expectations of peers, your performance at work, your iPhone, your cup of coffee, or perhaps even your holy desire to love others well?!? What if we were never meant to be rooted in anything but Christ himself? Let the Lord reveal places in your story where your heart has been uprooted from Christ - places where the deep watering of his love has yet to be received because the wounds, trauma, fears, and shame have left you turned away and drying out. This is an invitation this week to let the Lord re-root your heart and call you closer to him so that the only thing you remain tethered to is the love of God.
