    LCDR Phillip Harper, a Chicago native, joined the U.S. Navy in 1997 and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing in 2011. He joined Strike Fighter Squadron ONE NINE FIVE (VFA-195) in Japan and later joined the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels). Harper served as Administrative and Executive Officer, Ship's Secretary, and Admin Primary Assistant before becoming the Flag Aide and Executive Officer at Headquarters, Naval Surface & Mine Warfighting Development Center.
