In 2020, Kristie made a life-changing decision to leave her corporate accounting career and travel full-time. Along the way, she realized two key things: “If you can work remotely, why not from somewhere amazing?” and that balancing work and travel takes a lot of planning.


    Motivated by these insights, Kristie launched ERW in 2021, helping others plan “workation” experiences in beautiful destinations like Croatia, Mexico, and Belize. Recently, Kristie felt called back to accounting but on her own terms. She’s now focusing on meaningful projects while keeping the freedom to travel and even working toward Hungarian citizenship.
