As the month of June is for creating awareness for men mental health, we decided to also talk about it as it's an issue that needs all the awareness it can get. What better way to create awareness if not through books which is why in this segment we discussed up to African four books discussing mental issues suffered by men. It's a calm episode as the issues discussed are sensitive. We hope the world be a better place for everyone of us to live in. Happy listening. • EP 7: I Do Not Come To You By Chance by Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani
    May 26 2024
Still on contemporary issues, this book talks on ills in the society and the effects focusing on unemployment and how it pushes people to indulge in fraudulent acts such as 419. The author's description is so vivid and thorough it's as if she has inside information on this act. It'll leave you wondering if she had indulged in this act. Although addressing a serious issue, it's a very funny and witty book and there's no dull moment as it's fast paced. We really enjoyed making this one, we had a great laugh while at it and we hope you do too and this pushes you to check the book out. Happy listening!
