    Mar 5 2024
Send us a textWhen you think of Kings Island, you think of the many roller coasters they have. 14 to be exact. Well, we talk about 2 of them. Believe it or not, roller coasters do not translate well in podcast form. But I highly recommend watching a video about the coasters at this park. What is fun to talk about is carousels. And Tomb Raider: The Ride. So join us this week to hear about dark rides and blue ice cream. Or is it Smurfs ice cream? I'm still not sure what to call it, but I w...

    Feb 20 2024
Send us a textThis park has been on our list to cover from day 1. But suddenly, Matt had a reason to bump it up on the recording schedule. What might this reason be? You'll have to listen to find out. Just know that Matt is not a pervert. Take a road trip with us this week as we discuss Kennywood and its long history. Full of unique coasters and dark rides, we chose the attractions that we find most interesting. I'm curious how many little kids have been traumatized on Ghostwood Estate. ...

    Feb 13 2024
Send us a textDo you remember going to Disneyland when it first opened and wanting to build your own park after your visit? Well so does James Burge and that is exactly what he did. He was fascinated with Frontierland so when he returned to his hometown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he lead the Oklahoma Semi-Centennial Exposition which was a fair. After the fair ended, he bought all the props from the Boom Town exhibit and that was the beginning of Frontier City. This is one of the best themed p...

Send us a textWe decided to go old school this week and visit a park that is about to celebrate its 100th year! Lake Winnie is in Rossville, Georgia. This amusement park sits right next to a lake and uses the water to their advantage by having the oldest operating mill chute ride slide right down into the lake water. Brandon's going to pass on the dirty water ride. The park also has a Bill Tracy dark ride...kind of. It has seen a few changes but you know what hasn't changed? Their wooden rolle...
