In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by GrunesDragon, a Pokemon Trainer and artist with a passion for Dragons and Dragon Pokemon.

GrunesDragon Pokemon Journey starts with the anime and Pokemon Y. Due to the restriction of media by their family, GrunesDragon would not be introduced to Pokemon games until Pokemon Y thanks to their friend. GrunesDragon shares insight into the more recent games, specifically Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and how the plot of a group of outcasts appealed to them.

GrunesDragon deep affection for animals and this made Pokemon extremely appealing, especially during times of turmoil at home. GrunesDragon also found art as a way for them to provide an escape and would pursue this interest in different artistic ways.

In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by Pixeladdy, a Pokemon Trainer and anime-inspired pixel artist based out of Toronto.

Pixeladdy share his first experience with Pokemon starting with the anime and Pokemon Trading Cards. He and his brother would collect the cards adn would watch the anime on television.

Pixeladdy would return to collecting cards after watching certain content creators and social media influencers open Pokemon card packs. Pixeladdy would start his journey collecting Pokemon cards and even start an early Instagram account showing off both rare Pokemon cards and pack openings.

Pixeladdy finally dives into his journey running his own business selling pixel art. He shares what led him to make his decision and how he got started into the world of recreating moments from the Pokemon anime with pixels!

In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by Glowl, A Pokemon Trainer who leads the Fried Shrimp community and hunts for Shiny Pokemon on Twitch.

Glowl's Pokemon Journey begins with Pokemon Sapphire where he traveled the Hoenn region. He continues to play Pokemon and starts to gain an interest in Shiny Pokemon. Due to the rarity, Glowl is dedicated to catch all Shiny Pokemon!

However, Glowl expresses the biggest impact on his Pokemon journey came from the Pokemon creators he would watch on Youtube and Twitch. It led to him becoming a Pokemon content creator, specifically Twitch. Pokemon has given him a lot of opportunities, including a visit to NAIC, Worlds 2024, and GO Fest in NYC.

Justin Keller starts his Pokemon journey from both watching the Pokemon anime and purchasing Pokemon cards. Justin Keller shares his interest in dogs and how that led to his favorite Pokemon, Arcanine.

Justin Keller dives into his experience with Pokemon GO, starting with his time in Kansas. Thank to Pokemon GO, Justin Keller finds his interest in the Pokemon TCG, starting initially as a collector before transitioning to attending locals and regionals for Pokemon TCG.

Finally, Justin Keller talks about why he wanted to become a podcaster. He started his podcast journey by becoming the new co-host for Special Conditions, a Pokemon TCG podcast where they talk about Pokemon cards and how the cards affect the new meta. Justin Keller next dives into his interest in Pokemon Sleep and becoming a co-host with PureLighter, where they talk about events, updates, and their experience with Pokemon Sleep.

In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by I Do The Felting, a Pokemon Trainer who creates Pokemon through needle felting.

I Do The Felting starts her journey with being introduced to Pokemon Red. However, she discovered she had little interest in the main series games and preferred the spin-off games such as Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Pokemon Dungeon. She also shares her interest in the anime and how she appreciated Rachel Lillis's voice for Jessie from Team Rocket.

I Do The Felting shares her introduction into Pokemon GO and her love for Shiny Pokemon. She gives insight into her love for Pokemon GO Raids and events that are hosted in the mobile game. Despite her not able to attend and live events, I Do The Felting appreciates feeling connected via remote events and able to engage with the event in her hometown.

Finally I Do The Felting indulges with my question, "what is needle felting?" Needle felting is a creative craft that involves sculpting shapes and figures using wool and special felting needles. She shares how she got involved in this unique craft and reflects on her journey both from starting to present day!

In this Pokemon interview, we are joined by RocketClare, a Pokemon GO Trainer from Australia and Pokemon Worlds competitor in 2024.

RocketClare shares her initial entry into the Pokemon franchise starting with Pokemon GO where she attempted to develop ways to encourage both herself and her children to become more active outside. Despite her children losing interest in the game, RocketClare find the game engaging and beneficial to her mental health by meeting people and walking outside.

RocketClare speaks on her local community and how it led to her involvement with Pokemon GO PvP, starting with Silph Arena before transitioning to participating with Play Pokemon and competing. RocketClare also speaks on the importance of representation for women and how her involvement with GirlsThatPvP improved her experience with Pokemon GO PvP.
