  • Kevin and Tim are back to talk through Atlanta United FC's recent breakthrough against Red Bull New York. This weekend's victory, during MLS Matchday 6, marked the first time the Five Stripes have topped the Red Bulls in a Major League Soccer regular season match. Though the performance was less than a resounding win or performance, it still marked the first time Atlanta managed to beat NY since their 2018 MLS Cup Championship. With the team back from International Duty it was evident that the combined efforts by Almada and Miles Robinson were critical to the 5 Stripes success. So far Atlanta seems to be on the path to continued success in the East, but only time will tell. With a challenging road game against NYCFC on the horizon, it’s anyone’s game inside of Yankee Stadium.
