  • 11. Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, Assault on Hoth, and Star Wars (1978) Famicom
    Oct 15 2024

The fellas dive into the world of late 80's Star Wars gaming. This is definitely an era where the table-top has a lot more to offer us than the digital world. Since the fellas are sick of Ewoks, it felt good to get fully away from Ewok content and not talk about them at all. Also remember when Vader turned into a scorpion?

    - Video Game: Star Wars (1987)
    - Board Games: The Roleplaying Game, Assault on Hoth

    Next Time:
    - Book: Heir to the Empire!!!

  • 9. Cartoons! Droids and Ewoks (1985)
    Oct 1 2024

Home stretch of Ewok content! We're watching the... barely discussed cartoons from the mid-80's that would be Lucasfilm's first foray into animated television. Both fellas were surprised which cartoon came out on top in their opinion. Have you ever gotten in trouble for playing drop the sack? That was something we could both relate too.

    Sep 24 2024

Star Wars! Right? Star Wars? With Burl Ives? And goats and chickens? Jackson is realizing this method might be an interesting novelty but not necessarily the best way to make Ryan fall in love with Star Wars. This TV movie is pretty interesting on a historical level if not an entertainment one. But hey, we found it pretty entertaining. IT EATS TICKLES!!!!

Now that the original trilogy is behind us, where do we go from here? Well the answer is Ewoks for a while. We touch on it here but it's gonna get... to be too much. Aug 27 2024

Here's the big one fellas. This is where we decide if Ryan is going to enjoy the Beggar's Canyon Boys experience going forward. Will the amazing direction of Irvin Kirshner and the slower pace to develop characters be enough to engage him, or will he still just be annoyed at Han and Chewie? Let's freakin find out.
