    Welcome to our latest podcast episode where we have the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. William Ritchie, an esteemed orthopaedic surgeon at New Mexico Orthopaedics. Dr. Ritchie specializes in shoulder and knee injuries, occupational medicine, sports medicine, and trauma. He is also a passionate public health advocate, working tirelessly to promote healthy lifestyles and injury prevention in his community.

    Dr. Ritchie believes in treating the whole person, not just the injury or condition, and views each patient as an athlete in their own right. He enjoys using his knowledge and skills to fix injuries and help people regain their mobility and quality of life. Prior to joining New Mexico Orthopaedics, Dr. Ritchie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Albuquerque's Kirtland Air Force Base.

    In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Ritchie is a strong advocate for public health and injury prevention. He works closely with his community to promote healthy lifestyles and educate people about the importance of injury prevention. Join us as we dive into the world of orthopaedic surgery and learn more about Dr. Ritchie's unique approach to treating his patients and his passion for public health advocacy.
