    Treive, the author of 'A Nun and the Pig. Treive shares his passion for the history of the Eastern Cape, his adventures exploring the life of a Xhosa girl who had an incredible impact. The teenager and so-called prophetess, Nongqawuse, who was traditionally held responsible for the Xhosa Great Cattle Killing (1856-57), when 40,000+ lost their lives in the Eastern Cape, has become his recent passion project.
