Hello, my spectral spectators! Clinton here, ready to take you on another journey into the unknown with Episode 19 of our Paranormal Podcast.

From Waverley Station to Edinburgh’s Comedy Haunts We kick off this week’s episode at Waverley Station as I head to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. Imagine the mist rolling in, the faint sound of bagpipes echoing through the air—truly a mystical start to our Scottish adventure.

Comedy Courtyard Spirits Next, I chat with the brilliant Josh Cluderay and Fred Macauley in the Pleasance Courtyard. Amidst the laughs, we uncover the spooky side of comedy—who knew spirits had such a good sense of humor?

Linda’s Grumpy Spirits and Mental Health Musings Back in the studio, Linda talks about feeling a bit grumpy—probably due to the spirits around her! We delve into a short discussion about mental health and the mental health shows at the Edinburgh Festival. It's important to keep our spirits up, even when the ghostly ones try to bring us down.

Ghosts, Directors, and Greystoke Castle We then take a detour to talk about a Mexican director’s ghostly experience in Aberdeen—what a story! And before we move on, we throw ahead to my next spooky stay at Greystoke Castle. It’s bound to be a night full of eerie encounters!

Wedding Planning and Celeb Dating Next up, we dive into an article from Take A Break about wedding planning—because even in the paranormal world, love is complicated! Linda shares her thoughts on dating celebs, and we find out that love really might be blind... even to the supernatural.

Maisie Adam’s Spooky Encounter Then, we have the first part of my interview with the brilliant comedian Maisie Adam. She shares a spine-tingling encounter that will make your hair stand on end. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this one!

Magritte and Eternal Friendships Afterward, we read an email from Toni Flanders about Magritte and his famous painting “The Son Of Man.” You’ll want to check out the photo see over at www.patreon.com/clintonbaptiste. Then, we chat with Toni Flanders on Zoom to dig deeper into this mysterious story.

Closing Thoughts We wrap up with a couple more problems—spiritual ones, of course—and say our goodbyes with a touch of Glowe’s fabulous music.

    Stay spooky

Hello, my spectral spectators! Clinton Baptiste here, bringing you another episode packed with chills, thrills, and plenty of spiritual shenanigans.

From Whitley Bay This week, we're coming to you live from Whitley Bay! And let me tell you, there's definitely a spirit in the machine...the card machines have gone down at the venue! Technology, eh? Always something spooky going on behind the scenes.

Stage Madness I eventually make it out on stage, only to be greeted by a woman shouting, "Get 'em off!" What is this, the Chippendales? I'm a serious spiritual healer, love, not some cabaret act!

Flying High and Clapping on Landing We kick things off with a chat about flying—there’s something so spiritual about soaring through the skies. Linda talks about people clapping when the plane lands, and I share my own flying nightmare: an EasyJet flight that needed a jump start. Hearing the pilot announce that... I nearly lost my spiritual composure!

Ghostly Tales and Strange Happenings Next, we dive into some eerie tales:

    • Greg Perkin makes an appearance as "Thomas of Todmorden," sharing a peculiar story about his wife eating Pickled Onion Monster Munch before bed. We play a little clip of that.
    • Jonathan Anstee sends in an email about a ghost in his kitchen one night. We play out his MP3 and discuss the paranormal activity.
    • Then, I read out an article by JacquieAnn Taylor from Fate and Fortune. Turns out I went to school with her! She runs the “Memories of Our School” page on Facebook. We try to reach out, but after being turned down, it felt like a lesson in humility—don’t assume everyone’s eager to reconnect. And Linda, take those spiritual stories seriously!

Spiritual Problems and Witches We delve into problems from Take A Break Fate and Fortune, including one about a witch who found a home. We also discuss a dead dad walking someone down the aisle, which leads to a deeper conversation about the nature of heaven and spirituality.

Archie Levy’s Strange Tale I then tee up an interview with Archie Levy from Sundown Studios. Archie shares a strange story which will surely make you sh*t your pants. Pics on www.patreon.com/clintonbaptiste

    Anyway….Stay spooky, my friends.

Episode 17: Birmingham, Spooky Surprises, and Cheeky Tales

Live from Birmingham Town Hall We kick things off from the grand Birmingham Town Hall, where hundreds of people have gathered to see yours truly. Wish me luck—I'll need all the spiritual energy I can muster for this crowd!

A Birthday Surprise for Linda This week, it's a special Linda Pollock birthday edition! 🎉 We planned a surprise party for Linda, and you get to hear all the behind-the-scenes action—from the preparations at my house to the big reveal at the venue. Linda joins us to share her thoughts on the surprise—did she love it, or was she secretly hoping for a séance instead?

Clinton's Crisis of Confidence I also open up about feeling like I've lost my touch—especially after the whole Bernadette solicitor situation. People aren't getting back to me, and my stories just don’t seem to have the same resonance. Am I getting boring? But just when you think things are going downhill, we turn to the emails...

Cheeky Emails and Strange Stories We dive into some of the most bizarre emails yet:

    • Fight.pass1974 claims to have touched willies with me at a gig. Oh, the things people remember!
    • Michelle Rayner AKA Precious shares a video of herself blowing off—seriously, no more fart stories, please!
    • A tale about the Queen Mum’s face on a dog, which somehow leads us into a chat about Will Young and Tom Daley. Spooky or just odd? You decide.

Kate Hodges, Tarot Tales, and Spooky Sips We mention Kate Hodges and her D-Day veterans gig, where Camilla Parker Bowles praised "Rabbit." Then, we delve into Tarot cards and a wild Ian McShane story from Susan Lardner.

We also explore the article "Anyone For a Brew," which mirrors last week's haunted caravan tale—are they linked? And finally, Barry from Watford shares his summer BBQ mishap.

Live from Basingstoke This week, I'm coming to you live from the vibrant town of Basingstoke. The atmosphere is buzzing, and I’m ready to dive into some supernatural shenanigans. Wish me luck!

Smelly Pubs and British Pub Culture We kick things off with Linda, who brings up the charming topic of smelly pubs. This leads us into a nostalgic chat about the great British pub—how I love them, and how they may have contributed to my less-than-stellar A-level results. But who needs A-levels when you’ve got spirits (both kinds) in your life, right?

Danny Robins and Deadly Visions We then have a bit of a natter about the brilliant Danny Robins, whose work in the paranormal world continues to fascinate us. This smoothly transitions into a chilling story from Take a Break called "Deadly Visions," about a lady in a funeral parlour. It’s a tale that will make your skin crawl and have you questioning what lies beyond the veil.

Barry Dodds and Paranormal Problems Next up, we’re thrilled to introduce Barry Dodds, who joins us for an interview full of laughs and ghostly insights. Barry’s got some cracking stories to share, and we have a good old chat about all things spooky.

We then dive into a series of peculiar problems from Take A Break Fate and Fortune. Whether it’s ghosts in the attic or mysterious fortunes, we’ve got it covered with our signature blend of humor and paranormal wisdom.

Finale and Thanks As always, we round things off with Glowe’s beautiful track, "Little Bird," to soothe your spirit as we part ways for another week.

With heartfelt thanks to Katrine Boyle, Barry Dodds, Sally Ann-Hayward, Barry from Watford, and of course, Glowe for providing this glorious music.

Ghost Stories and Orbs We play out Ari Young and her mum’s ghost story, followed by another eerie tale about being followed, courtesy of Take a Break Fate and Fortune. This leads to a discussion about orbs and dust in houses—are they supernatural or just household nuisances?
