  • Best set of games all year (so far!) | Gauer Hour
    Jan 10 2025

What a Thursday of games! LSU-Tennessee was maybe the best game all year, Mississippi State notches a top-10 win over Oklahoma and two very different-looking ACC games go to overtime. Not to mention, USC-Maryland was a thriller on Wednesday, and South Carolina-Texas comes on Sunday! Rob and Megan hit on all of those games and more, plus they have a great chat with Lulu Kesin of The Greenville News to talk about the impact of Ashlyn Watkins' injury on South Carolina and get her thoughts on the team as a whole.

  • The Definitive CFP Semifinal Preview
    Jan 7 2025

We got CFP games coming back into our lives on Thursday and Friday night, so let's get the gang back together to break these down. The squad is assembled; Roddy Jones, Wayne Cook, Hartzell, and the Doc join forces to run through the Orange Bowl & Cotton Bowl. We head to Texas to bring in Craig Way, the Voice of the Longhorns, to give us some local perspective on Texas' chances as an underdog against mighty Ohio State on Friday. Could we be in line for the first real upset of this year's playoff? Roddy is calling the Orange Bowl for national radio, so he gives us a full breakdown of what to expect in the rock fight we all expect between Notre Dame and Penn State. Plus the guys make some picks and predictions to close out the show.

  • And then there were four
    Jan 3 2025

CFP Quarterfinals are in the books and we're going to talk about them. Wayne and Felder join Hartzell (no Roddy because he's nursing a sore throat) to recap the four games that got us here. Full recaps of the Sugar, Rose, Peach, and Fiesta bowls, plus what it means moving forward in the semis. Obviously Ohio State is the team to beat, but what do the guys make of Texas' escape vs ASU? There are some members of the show that believe Notre Dame has the best QB left in the tournament, which is a take. What do the losses for Georgia and Oregon say about those two programs; bump in the road or harbinger of things to come? Why did all four teams that had byes lose, and what does that say about the future CFP models? Plenty to discuss as we ring in the new year on the first CSN of 2025!
