How do we deal with the friction and pain that is caused by a good community? Join us this weekend as we discuss what 1 Corinthians 13 describes as a "more excellent way" to help keep us unified.

What a great opportunity we have as a church to be unified and buy into being part of the “Body life” at CFC. It’s a huge blessing. It’s hard; it will transform you! Unlike our divided and splintered culture, we have Jesus as our common confession, we are empowered by God, and have manifestations of His Spirit working through us. When working together, amazing things happen. What are your spiritual gifts, and how might God be using you to build up the body?

Gender roles in our culture can make people cringe, largely due to the many abuses of power and lack of understanding of the gospel. What does the Bible say about this, and how can we live in such a way that we are honoring of one another?

Doesn't it feel like some practices that we read in the bible are way out of date and context? Idolatry? "I'm not making little statues, no big deal." This weekend we are going to explore how idolatry is far more than that and learn together what to do about it.

What would you say to someone who says that you are only a Christian because of your parents or your background? Can you be born into Christianity? Join us this weekend as we look at the idea that your faithfulness is a choice.

Do you get fired up about being part of something bigger than yourself? Does the idea of being used by God to do something great sound inspiring? Join us this weekend as we look at the ministry of Paul and see what the scripture has to say about how we can be a part of more kingdom work.

Is it ok to smoke marijuana, watch R-rated movies, drink alcohol, wear skin-tight
clothing, have a tattoo, and have unfiltered access to the internet (all at once-Ha!)?
What does the Bible say about these things? The truth is that some of these things are
not as ‘black and white’ as we might think. We see right and wrong through various
lenses. How should we decide what to do in the ‘gray’ areas of life?

At Corinth they struggled with discontent, always looking to improve their status in some
way. Paul encourages them to “remain” in the condition they are in. Join us this
weekend to explore the dynamics of discontent and how to have an undivided heart
towards Jesus.
