The wait finally ended on Tuesday night. The Dallas Cowboys made a decision on head coach Mike McCarthy — to NOT allow him to talk with the Chicago Bears for their head coaching position. We’re all in Dallas Cowboys purgatory. Including head coach Mike McCarthy. Other teams want to talk to McCarthy, but as of now, other teams can’t talk to him without the permission of the Cowboys. Today is the first day of the rest of our lives — A.K.A., the Dallas Cowboys off-season. The Cowboys lost to the Washington Commanders on a last-second touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin, but that’s not the story from Sunday’s season finale. The Dallas Cowboys came up JUST short against the Washington Commanders in the season finale, 23-19. Shorthanded and with nothing to play for, Dallas took them to the wire and just couldn’t make the last play to get a win.
